Oh, my...Grumpy old men are not required to shed tears anymore...

You even brought out Tatelou and others not often seen of late.

Ah, Jeez, had 13 Roses scattered across the page, but it won't post....hope the thought suffices....

Happy Birthday, Imp, to the Barmitva. Parents are so often heroes.

I missed this last year, Imp and I hate that I did. It is truly inspirational. Happy 14 to your son and congratulations to his tenacious mom.

I remember reading this last year and tearing up.
I read it again today and the tears were there again.
Wishing you both a happy birth day, peace, and light
Happy 14!!

imp, thanks for sharing that story. miracles do happen, though your devotion is the magic medicine, here. :rose:

That is a great story. It's one of the best ever, and with a happy ending, because it hasn't ended yet, and hopefully won't for a very long time.

Happy birthday to your son.

Hi Imp,
I have a thirteen year old, and two older ones, as well as one younger. Had a tough time with one of the older ones, but nothing like you went through. Don't let the other posters scare you. Teenage years are certainly difficult, but so wonderful. You both will come through! Enjoy!

Happy Birthday! :nana:

I just realised today how appropriate it is that his birthday is the day after Summer solstice. The symbolism is never-ending. He lights up so many lives.

Imp,
Thank you for sharing that story. A wonderful start to the day. I know it's not easy and I pray for you both. This is the first time I saw this thread.

A very Happy 15th to him!

So how are you surviving the teen years so far? My daughter had a clothes allowance. My 16 year old son has a food allowance. :)
