Let me know :)

Thank you!

There were only a couple of things that caused me to jerk, my friend.

The formating on the first page I thought was rather jerky to read. So? That's just me.

Also, in the Lit submission page, you need to change and to and .

Neither detracted from a good story.

JJ

Hehehe got the and from Laurel herself...
There were some huge problems getting it up on the site... so I don't think anything got converted by the BOTS just directly uploaded.

Glad you liked it..... heheheh

A week has passed....
For such a talkative lot ya'll be awfully quiet....
Please read, vote, and comment. Come back here :)

Hope ya'll had a wunnerful weekend...

You cant blame me.

So I went and read it. For an introduction to Literotica and its story boards I am blown away. There were a couple of things that caught my eye though it didn't take away from the story... I assume that [i} and /i} means italicized?
I wonder why it isnt.

So. In my opinion its an incredible story. It never stops its reeling in of the reader. And the Ending. Wow. I want a sequel Ms. Christabel. Its begging for the rest of the story to be told. So when are you going to post the rest of the story. Its a Book waiting to be written.

Are you up to the challenge?

Thanks Georgie

As a matter of fact there WILL be more to 13 Hours :) HEHEHE

These two are doing that happy dance in my head...

I am saying thank you to all wo have taken the time to read and VOTE...

If you haven't PLEASE.... pretty please.... cherries, whip cream and chocolate fudge sauce please... go read and go vote....

bump and vote?

Hi Christabelllllllll (is that too many Ls?)

I've saved all the parts of your story to my 'puter and have started reading it off-line. Part one is fantastic! The imagery, the dialogue, the situation, all are wonderfully crafted. I will definitely finish it and vote and comment upon completion.

And now, a bit of Shameless Self-Promotion:

(ahem) have you tried "The Cat and the Collar", by Pete M'Gurk? It's dark, it's filling, and MIGHTY satisfying! Find it in your neighborhood Literotica Erotic Horror Category---TODAY! I thank you. :D

Vote and comment, pliz. Whatchoo gotta lose, know whut I sayn?

Pete

VOTE VOTE VOTE heheheh

Thanks Peter! I saw your review... awesomely blushes!

I will read your story tonight when I get home from work :)
Thanks again....

And Still BUMPING!!!

Only five more voting says Left!

Come on people READ AND VOTE

I don't think that's true. The 22nd is the last day to post stories; I don't think it's the last day that votes count. (And I'm building up resistance to reading/voting this one, I'm afraid, because of the prolonged self-promotion cheerleading for it. But I'm sure that's just me.)

Well, you cant blame me if you are resistant to reading...

ANd if I read it correctly the submission and voting ends on the 22nd. With the winners announced on the 29th... But even if I didn't - who cares? I have no chance of winning I just want people to read it and vote for it whether good or bad...

And - though there is no reason for me to justify - the cheerleading... Its MY first contest...

He's right about when the voting ends. There's always about a week of voting that goes on past when submissions are closed for new entries. Only fair: anyone who submitted on the last day wouldn't stand a chance of getting the required number of votes if it didn't.

You're right, there is no reason to justify it. On the contrary, you reminded the readers that time is running short and that we need to read these stories now and vote. I don't want to loose the chance to read all the stories. As a reader, I do appreciate when a writer announces his/her story, posting a link so that we can easily find it.

Thank you.

I did say it was probably just my own quirk that I'm put off by a contest story (a contest in which a good many of us following the boards also have entries) not just being announced but being bumped up and cheerleaded every other day. But perhaps you didn't want to know that it had this irritating effect on at least one. Cheerleading (not just announcing) doesn't really make a story any better or worse in relation to anyone else's in the contest than it was to begin with. This is part of what makes these "contests" a joke. Has nothing to do with the quality of the stories themselves, really (in fact, I think it cheapens the stories).
