Here is the list:

New York Rep. John Faso
North Carolina Rep. Walter Jones
New York Rep. Pete King
New York Rep. Lee Zeldin
New Jersey Rep. Chris Smith
New York Rep. Elise Stefanik
New Jersey Rep. Leonard Lance
New Jersey Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen
California Rep. Darrell Issa
California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher
New York Rep. Dan Donovan
New Jersey Rep. Frank LoBiondo

I wonder why these 12 would not support the bill if it so clearly benefits their constituency?

So? Most from high tax states who will no longer be subsidized by the states of those who voted for it.

It won't....look how cobalt blue the states are that they are from........(R) is about to highlight and underscore with extra sting just how badly (D)'s are hosing them at the state level.

It's another colossal money grab.

That's what taxation is in the first place, a money grab.

Not taxing people more =/= money grab.

I don't recognize the easterners (except King) but both Californians are rather conservative guys in high-rent districts that'll be VERY badly impacted by the new plan. They fear their deduction-losing constituents more than the national party or corporate owners.

Whatever.

You mean that there are republicans thinking about their constituents instead of just voting the party line? SCHOCKING

Darrell Issa, inventor of those fucking annoying multi-torture car alarms and tool for making Schwartzenegger gobernator, represents rich northern suburbs of San Diego. Dana Rohrabacher, Reagan aide and Putin lover, is just north in booming Orange County, increasingly dominated by Asian-American technologists. Their 49th and 48th districts are probably the richest in California with (R) reps. You *bet* they fear their constituents' reactions to the Gup assault on blue states. I don't know if their votes will save their asses in the midterms.
