OK so this is DORKY but I'd buy some land and build a huge animal rescue. I'd focus on cats, but not only cats. I'd have an educational component to it about the importance of spay/neuter and being responsible for your animal companions. It would be a nice place - of course I'd live there, too. I'd clear off all my parents debt, then use the remainder to purchase a night club, which would be open to the youth during the day and be the "Mutha-fuckin' Spot" at night...

I'd do all the things people usually say they'd do first....help out family and friends, etc. invest some, travel some..... and I'd also make some "indecent proposals" to some of the young ladies I work with. no one is worth a million bucks, but if some of them would give it up for $1,000, what the hell?

Kindgirl...this is NOT a dorky idea. I've often thought if I were to ever win that kind of money, I'd do something for our littly fury friends.

I'd change my phone number, turn in my notice at work, pay off everything I owe, buy my parents any and all their hearts desire, pay off the mortgage for my 3 best girlfriends, divorce my hubby, donate a chunk to the humane society, throw one hell of a party and fly all my Lit friends in so they can attend, buy a house on the gulf coast for 'get-aways' and then build that cabin in the mountains, move there....and swing on that swing on the back deck.

play off debt, buy a little nicer home- not some huge thing probably in the 125,000 range. Put the rest away for retirement. And travel some. Make sure kids went to a good college.

I would build a comfortable affordable house. Not a huge house that I would have to clean my ass off on. Make sure that my children have what they need (not want) to go into life as successful adults. I would let them have what the want to a point....as to where they are not spoiled brats. After that they're gonna have to work for me for it. Pay off our parents land/homes. Hell I don't know when it happens then I'll let ya know...typing from the middle of the woods hiding somewhere

I would pay off everything the build a house with a guest house for my parents so that I could still help my mom take care of my dad. It would have a huge kitchen open into the living room so that I could cook for everybody but still be in the middle of everything. It would also have a huge master bath with a fireplace in it. I love long hot bathes. Nothing fancy, I would still want everyone to be comfortable there not having to worry about getting anything dirty. Basicaly a place that my family and friends can have a good time together.

(A Lottery winfall) After I woke up from passing out! I'd fly south to take that special woman out for dinner, possibly in Paris. We'd agree on a location & have a Log Home built overlooking a private lake in a secluded area! Complete with porch swing!
