I knew I should've gone to bed hours ago.
I knew I shouldn't have opened this tonight.
I knew that being 'married' to the Army would one day haunt.
I knew I'd eventually find someone on that list that I recognized, someone that I knew.

Things I don't know:

If his daughter is old enough to remember him.
If his wife ever gained her citizenship.
If his mother in Puerto Rico will be able to live without the money he sent her every month.
If I have the resolve to look through the rest of that website and find out who else is gone.

Found a friend of mine. I already knew he was there of course, but still had to see the pic. Knew him thru school and was in Boy Scouts with him.

But at least he died flying which was what he loved to do.
