Taking a break. Today‘s work left me in a place where I couldn’t stand on my whole foot, and relied mostly on gripping with my toes! My legs are all wobbly and my feet are numb.

Great progress though!

Sounds like someone GOT painted instead of painting

No painting today! Possibly later, though. I was clearing the space on top of the wall cupboard that had some of my mum’s belongings on it. Very emotional work, it’s hard to sort through her things. I started prepping the wall for painting, but I used up all the cleaning supplies and when I got back down I was too wobbly to risk heading straight back up! I’ve got her things scattered around the kitchen so I’ll have to continue organising those when my legs can hold me again!

Thank you I still have a lot more of her things to go through, but I’m trying to do it in stages. I don’t know if doing it all at once would be better, but I think I prefer it this way. It’s like getting to keep her memory alive and relive things regularly. It’s hard, but it’s good as well. I might actually need to open that bottle of wine tonight lol!

The kitchen was like her space, she would sit in there with a tv and relax, so I’m trying decorate it in a way I believe she would have enjoyed. I hope I’m doing her proud.
