I just got a new down duvet.. My bed is no longer calling me, my bed is the plate where I am laying, wrapped as a fluffy and luxurious spring roll in my king-size down duvet..

This might be the best movie I've seen in a long time. It makes some radical departures from the book, but in ways that feel natural and appropriate. Both Oscar Isaac and Jacob Ellordi are fantastic. I would put this as one of Isaac's top 3 performances. Just... wow.

If you're remotely interested, I can't recommend this highly enough. I suspect this goes down as del Toro's great masterpiece. Beautiful, haunting, and of you'll pardon a thematically appropriate pun, electric.

Glad to make you laugh I’ve raised my chair to the proper height but am doing the rest of the hour while lying in bed, legs nice and stretched out, with a puppy curled up against me. Crossing my fingers that no emails that I need to deal with come in!

Spot on review! The scene where he and his mother greeted the father was probably the most striking thing I have watched.
