Now I'm wondering if I should create an alt, to improve my odds!

For the record I have no alts. Secondly if I did, I would create one profile with one persona, and a different persona for the other profile. I figure the odds would increase if I messaged the same woman...she would have different flavors to choose from.

Let me also say for the record multiple accounts can kill it for the person who has them and for others who don't. I was recently mistaken for someone who had messaged a certain litster here through more than one account. I thought things were great then she began to say "what if" and it ruined it.

I am retired and have plenty of free time but having to keep your alts separate and not overlap or send the wrong thing with the wrong alt just NO.

I'm intrigued, in a "watching a car accident" kind of way.

You have a better chance of increasing your odds by being yourself and not overthinking and trying so hard.

Having multiple accounts to try to be all things to all people is problematic not to mention creepy.

I’ve wondered, even semi-fantasized, about a man going through the effort of creating alt accounts, proverbially placing us in some 50 First Dates simulator, where he can learn from his failure as days pass.

On paper it is sort of hot (for a weirdo like me), but in reality it’s just uncomfortable once the dots are connected.

I prefer my alt accounts rising from the ashes of some desolate, forgotten about account - not some Joker wannabe causing havoc on one account while claiming innocent on the main.

I'd think your odds would increase if you were genuine and got to know people that were willing to get to know you. Patience is a virtue. Creating an alt would only work if you wanted to have a non-genuine version of yourself in the hopes of attracting somebody attracted to that fake persona. I know this happens; I get people enjoy that. But I'd rather take my chances, post me and my personality, and hope that it eventually meshes with somebody. If not, maybe I'll be lucky enough to make some friends. If not, at least maybe I can entertain myself
