Swedish sucks! This is just a rant so you can ignore and go on with your day but I need to vent publicly. I bombed at Swedish wordle yesterday after a 102 day streak, the word was LÅNGA (english ling), which is a type of fish classification. WTAF!!!! Should I have done an ichthyology course at university, hindsight grrr.
I think Swedish wordle should be 7 lines because the Swedish alphabet consists of 29 letters and 9 vowels so I think comparing us to english wordle with 6 lines is wrong, and disadvantages me significantly
So now I am going to drink some wine and focus on the good things of which any wordle isn't.![]()
That's awesome! Good on you for taking the plunge and publishing for the first time on LitHey, kids! No, it is not Wordle or even Wordle-like, but I wrote the first chapter of my first story. Check it out if you wish and give me your honest feedback in a PM. Thanks and be well Wordlesmiths!

No it doesn't you ignoramus, maybe Swedish wordle sucks, maybe. Because you don't understand something doesn't mean you can say it sucks, does French, Spanish, Xhosa and Zulu suck too?Swedish sucks!
Very much so (spelling that is)"Tahar dew Engleska" ("do you speak English" probably spelt wrong)
This is so sad, my partner who isn't even living in Sweden yet has been learning Swedish, I do however think it's more to do with understanding what I am saying when I talk to friends and family in SwedenAnd that kids,is how i met your motherwhy Ive never spoken another word of Swedish since!
I am indeed an ignoramus, last night I was also a drunken ignoramus, and I was trying to make a joke/emphasise with your Swedish wordle problems. Please accept my apologies for my poor drunken wording! No it doesn't you ignoramus, maybe Swedish wordle sucks, maybe. Because you don't understand something doesn't mean you can say it sucks, does French, Spanish, Xhosa and Zulu suck too?
To be honest drunk me was struggling with autocorrect! I'm glad i almost got it right from memory!Very much so (spelling that is)but well done on getting it almost phonetically correct, should be "Talar du engelska?"Although I would use "Pratar du engelska?" mostly used like always. Take note the capitilisation of the word English in the English language and not in Swedish, we only capitalise start of sentences and proper nouns, makes life easy - see bonus to speaking Swedish.
Again, I was going for a bit of drunken humour here! I did speak a little bit more Swedish on the trip but a) I had to keep repeating it with variations on the pronunciation to see if I could be understood and b) almost everyone spoke perfect English so it was quicker and easier to speak English! This is so sad, my partner who isn't even living in Sweden yet has been learning Swedish, I do however think it's more to do with understanding what I am saying when I talk to friends and family in Sweden. She says that it shares some of the grammar rules with Afrikaans (a Dutch derivative of the white settlers when they came to SA) so I think that helps a lot. My dad had to learn the language, he came to Sweden in '78 I think so he's been there for 47 years and speaks it fairly well. So I think you missed out on an amazing cultural experience
