So what are you giving out for Halloween ? What’s the weather forecast in your part of the world for Halloween πŸŽƒ? Do you participate in the real world or close the blinds and hide from the real world holiday.

I would never waste good edibles with trick or treaters , thats liar news and fear mongers at play I tell you.

I'm only doing it because I've got kids.

I really don't get the obsession with Halloween, but that's more to do with the fact I didn't grow up with it. From the outside, it's weird
Trying to explain to my husband why the US loves it was fun. It's hard to explain those warm fuzzy feelings from your childhood. lol

Halloween wasn't a thing until sometime mid 90's. Sure we had parties, but more autumn parties with themes. What you Americans call trick or treat appear mid to late 90's. And the funny thing is that it hasn't stuck. I heard on the radio today parents discussing witch day they should go trick or treat with their kids. "I can go on Saturday, does that work for you too?" No clue what day it really is. It's like saying that "No I can't be by you on the 24-25 Dec. It's better for me after New Year.

We don’t get many trick or treaters, but we hand out very good candy (a variety so kids with allergies can have their pick, too). We’ve been watching lots of horror flicks. Last night’s was Barbarian, which was pretty damn good.

I love Halloween, but I turn off all the lights so kids won't knock on my door and upset my old dog. His health is pretty bad now and I don't want to add more stress to him.

This is my first Halloween in the city in a high rise building. I haven't seen any signs for trick or treating in the building or anything, but I do have a little boy that lives down the hall that I thought about making a little treat bag for if I can catch his parents and see if it's cool. I don't actually know what unit they're in. LOL

I've never done much for Halloween. When my kids were little we did trick or treating or kid parties with them. I don't really decorate although my string lights on my balcony are orange...I guess that kind of counts.

Just carved the pumpkin. Only had to do the top and eyes...the kidlet did the rest. Best one she has done yet. We get no visits...so we head into town and they do both a thing in the park as well as the main residential street. She ends up with way too many treats. She's a plague doctor this year...

It is a farming town thing. It is big time. All the local businesses set up tables in the park...so the small kids can easily get 50 treats or so. They have best outfits...Best dances...and winners get trophies. Parents...drink beer in plastic cups while the kids have fun. Then...everyone with older kids head downtown and turn them loose on the main drag with all the big old houses...residents whose families have been in the county forever. They can easily get another 70 treats. I have never known a small Midwest community to not have a kick assed Halloween opportunity.

Edit...growing up, we had corn mazes, castles out of hay bales, dances, horse carriage rides. THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE ALL BOYS GOT THEIR FIRST KISS AND FEEL.

Usually just sit on porch and hand out various candy to kids and booze to adults. Sometimes I dress up in a costume or scare folks as myself looking like a some everyday hobo. I am a big fan of the hot moms who often come by dressed up and looking all super slutty

yep, trick or treating in the midwest was awesome. One giant block party all over town. All the people on a court would set up tables at the opening so the kids could get more, faster and the parents didn't have to walk so far (walk to far and you might empty your drink before the next one).

The only treats I gave out were carrots, celery, apples, and veggie fries......to animals at our local rescue farm. Kind of a reverse trick or treating. Wear costumes, bring treats for the animals, and walk around giving them out as you visit them. My favorites today were the baby goats. Mostly, I was out with the family today, looking all creepy. Did some trick or treating at the end of the night. Have started looting the chocolate. Focusing on all the Twix first. All the local towns held their Halloween today. Tomorrow we will carve more pumpkins, because we can. I will probably move on to the looting of the peanut butter cups once there are no more twix. Halloween, kid will have his school party, and then we will just watch some scary shows or movies.

Just got myself a Gengar onesie and am pretty fucking excited about it! Will definitely be wearing it for Beggar’s Night tomorrow.

Full size candy bars for the kids, my number and a can of beer for hot dads.
One shot for U 😈

So you can pregame πŸ₯ƒ

πŸΉβ˜‚οΈ Umbrella drinks tomorrow; I look forward to reading your posts tomorrow around dusk and after you’ve taken your bra off for the day 😎

cheers Lauren

I don't get any trick-or-treaters at my place so I can chill out tomorrow night and watch scary movies with a glass of wine. I love Halloween but this one will be mellow for me.
🍷 are you a fan of the amc plus channel or the walkingdead franchises.

You had my full attention when I read "booze to adults"!

200 full size candy bars. Deployed the EZ up since it was raining intermittently. Only 30ish candy bars left. The local youngins were pretty happy.
