Same here prob early 80s. And I know it was October bc one year we lived on a lake and my buddy and I were down playing by the water prob 6-7 grade, after dinner but waiting for Riki tiki tavi to come on and we saw a ball so we grabbed the row boat went out there and there was a body attached to what we thought was a ball. Because it was right before Halloween we weren’t sure if it was real or a joke. Ended up being real
