Day 28: Song

You'll find this song on best Canadian rock song lists near and far. Weird this one didn't make it into US airplay like their song The Oaf. For a 20 year stretch from the late 90s will into the 2000s, this was the most played song on Canadian rock radio (for good reason, it's really damn good). I do agree with the song though, it's better when it's not forced.

Big Wreck - That Song
First time I’ve ever heard this song, and it won’t be the last. Good choice.

Day 28: A song with the word “sing/song”

Pink Floyd is a metal band? Well on this song they sure were. Think about early metal band such as Sabbath, Sir Lord Baltimore, Blue Cheer, Zeppelin, Cream.

This song would’ve hung in with any of those bands, IMO.

My middle sister gave me the Pink Floyd album, Relics, when I was 13 or 14 years old. And this song always stuck out to me.

Pink Floyd - The Nile Song

Day 29: A song with the word “breathe/breath”

Kate Bush - Breathing

A desperate plea from the womb - brilliant and disturbing.
Outside
Gets inside, ooh-ooh-ooh
Through her skin
I've been out before, but this time it's much safer in
Last night
In the sky, ooh-ooh-ooh
Such a bright light
My radar send me danger
But my instincts tell me to
Keep breathing
Out, in, out, in, out, in
Breathing
Breathing my mother in
Breathing my beloved in
Breathing, breathing her nicotine
Breathing
Breathing the fall-out in, out in, out in, out in, out in
