Day 28: A song with the word "song"

The Buzzard Song - Porgy and Bess

Porgy celebrates his new relationship with Bess in this bass-driven classic.

Buzzard keep on flyin' over, take along yo' shadow.
Ain' nobody dead dis mornin'
Livin's jus' begun.
Two is strong where one is feeble
Man an' woman livin', workin',
Sharin' grief an' sharin' laughter,
An' love like Augus' sun.

Day 28: Song

You'll find this song on best Canadian rock song lists near and far. Weird this one didn't make it into US airplay like their song The Oaf. For a 20 year stretch from the late 90s will into the 2000s, this was the most played song on Canadian rock radio (for good reason, it's really damn good). I do agree with the song though, it's better when it's not forced.

Big Wreck - That Song

Day 28: A song with the word, "sing/song"
One of the repeated choruses: "Sing a song; (Sing) sing a song of songs; (Sing) Sing it out; Sing it strong (Sing! Sing! Sing! Sing!)"
This song was also put to brilliant use in Episode 3 of "Midnight Mass." Highly, highly, highly recommend.
