Seems delicious and I always do enjoy learning a little something. For instance: this morning I learned that I should move to Italy.in Italian households its mostly a battle between Moka

Either way it's delicious![]()
Italy is a fabulous place to live.... As drip coffee is an abomination there. Same here in Australia. It was my 6 year old Nespresso machine that died, and it's more expensive to repair than buy a new machine.Seems delicious and I always do enjoy learning a little something. Not at all. Learning about new things is a good thing. And .....It would be sacrilege for me to chime in here that I am the weirdo who doesn't drink coffee, right? And then everyone wonders how I've survived adulthood?
I do find all the methods and tools available to you all to be so fascinating though.
Morning folks![]()
Just coffee or no caffeine at all in the morning? I’m curious if I could survive life without caffeine. It’s my favorite drug. The effects and half life aren’t discussed or readily understood though. Michael Pollan wrote an interesting article about it in which he gave it up for a month or so. He came back to it right after thoughIt would be sacrilege for me to chime in here that I am the weirdo who doesn't drink coffee, right? And then everyone wonders how I've survived adulthood?

I love that your genetics determine if coffee is a stimulant for you or not. Only percolated coffee gives me that buzz. So not a drug for me as I'm a super-metaboliser. Damn, go you! I wish I could say the same, but I literally live off of caffeine. I work all the time and regularly don't find time or forget to eat so caffeine is my fuelNo, no caffeine at all in the AM, and really, caffeine intake is rare for me in general. I'll have maybe one or two sodas a week, and sometimes decaf tea in the winter. Now, I have a sugar problem for sure, but that's a whole other animal.
