Model making is cool. I used to build them when I was a kid and abt 10 yo got a bunch of airplane models when I was recovering from ankle reconstruction. Was fun and I always mean to go back to it in the winter…

It's fun to exercise the tiniest bit of artistic expression and enjoy it for a few weeks.

The one consistent hobby (for 8 months out of the year) is gardening. All other hobbies eb and flow depending upon what's happening in life: baking, crocheting, quilting, gaming, painting (by numbers), diamond art, diorama/tabletop top landscape pieces, and hot sauce making.

I write (erotica and non-smut) mostly. And I do read a fair amount (and I don't give away or sell, so my collection is pretty big). I used to draw a lot, but not so much now. And I enjoy the thrill of a good 1000 piece jigsaw. And I'm re-learning how to play the piano with my grandson.

I am curious about quilting, but haven't gone there yet. But I think I will one day.
