Gotta agree with the dude in that family don't mean shit. Really stop and think about whether or not you'd even know much less socialize with those people if they weren't related. Most families don't even have much in common, they all got their own things going on.
It's nice to have family but there's only a couple I'd hang with as friends and I'm not at all sure if they feel the same way.
It's weird that I do miss my mother but hardly talked to her when she was around. The mother/child bond is very interesting to me.
