███████████ Impeachment Proceedings On Donald Trump ███████████

HuffPost:

Attorney Rudy Giuliani, who has defended his client, President Donald Trump, in a series of cable news hits and off-the-rails conspiracy-mongering interviews, said Friday that his purpose is “to disrupt the world.”

This guy is fucking certifiable.

I see "precedent" is your new talking point now that you lost on the fake "inquiry vs. preceeding" talking point.

Because (cough, Merrick Garland) it was "precedent" to deny a SCOTUS nomination in an election year. And nothing in Congress has changed in hundreds of years because "precedent."

"Precedent" is not going to win over the plain language of the Constitution, but if that's what you need to pretend this isn't legit, good luck with that.

The Executive has the power to challenge Congressional subpoenas. No one said their power was absolute. But when the Executive enacts a total blanket refusal of ALL Congressional demands (without, it must be said, undertaking the process of Judicial referral) because "reasons," that's Obstruction and complete denial of the mere existence of the Legislative Branch = POTUS UBER ALLES.

No one can ever say precedent and Trump in the same sentence with a straight face. Also, inherent contempt.

That's because it was an uppity Negro.

Nah, uppity socialist/progressive/Democrat had much more to do with it.

Systematically patriotic white America loves them some Negroes, but only if they're just as individual liberty-minded. If they're not, then they just look the same as every other socialist/progressive/Democrat, whatever shade of melanin is involved.

So, are GB Deplorables losing their shit yet over whistleblower #2?

*checks forum*

Oh yeah.

Trump ran on changing precedence. Drain the swamp and get away from the typical political good ole boy agenda.

The discussion on precedence has all to due with the impeachment process. House vote on the legitimacy of an impeachment process which allows due process and allows both parties to cross examine witnesses and subpoena evidence. This, as it stands now, is a one sided witch hunt with no boundaries. Obama could have been subjected to this type of scrutiny but was given the respect and latitude to run his administration. What Obama didn't have the right to do was to use his administration to spy on the Trump campaign. Stand by it's coming!

Not sure if you're taking your wrong meds or need to take meds. To say Obama was given the respect and latitude to run his administration is about as far from reality as one can get.

He was never given respect, either as a candidate or a two-term president, by Republicans and their deplorable supporters.

Even worse, to keep claiming this a witch hunt despite the near daily revelations of the criminal acts the con artist has committed shows there is no crime imaginable this criminal can commit which would lead to an impeachment in your sad, pathetic mind.

The most idiotic and ignorant thing ever posted on this board, or anywhere for that matter.

A good example of why you are never taken seriously..

The Party of No: New Details on the GOP Plot to Obstruct Obama

Republican plot to obstruct President Obama before he even took office, including secret meetings led by House GOP whip Eric Cantor (in December 2008) and Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (in early January 2009) in which they laid out their daring (though cynical and political) no-honeymoon strategy of all-out resistance to a popular President-elect during an economic emergency. “If he was for it,” former Ohio Senator George Voinovich explained, “we had to be against it.”

There's no "due process" at issue until someone's arrest or charged with a crime. It has nothing to do with the impeachment process.

It's conducted in the House, get it? Which means it follows House rules. Who said both parties can't cross examine witnesses? The Rs get their shot. And Only the majority can do the subpoenas, sorry. Take it up with the Constitution

You have no idea what you're talking about. You're just blathering Trump's attempts to paint himself as a victim with random b.s. he heard on Perry Mason.

Sounds familiar. From Trump's asshole to your pie hole.

I have no problem with calling the impeachment investigation a witch hunt. Trump is clearly a witch and a hunt is very much in order.

Something that's getting lost in zeroing in on Trump and Ukraine and digging up dirt on the Bidens is that Trump was also serving Russia's wishes by withholding appropriated military aid to Ukraine to resist the brutal Russian invasion of the Ukraine. Trump's most heinous crime is that he is a producing asset of the Russian government--at least to line his own pockets, at most because he's being blackmailed because of what Russia has developed on his piggish behavior over the past several decades. Trump is a traitor to his country and needs to be prosecuted and incarcerated on that issue alone, regardless of all of the rest of his corruption and criminality. Can anyone come up with an instance in which he was not blatantly promoting Russia's goals?

Was Obama ever threatened impeachment? He had his share of grief like any other president but if you can't see a difference from what's going on now, I'm afraid you need meds. Obama was never threatened impeachment before he was even inaugurated.

The difference is that Obama is more moral and intelligent than the crooked estate developer ,who was regarded with disdain from the 70's onward by anyone who had the misfortune to have any involvement with him .

Daily "revelations," you say?

Sounds like the House should impeach today and the Senate should remove tommorow to prevent further "criminal acts."

To whom has The Almighty revealed these truths?

Agreed.

Even those degenerate "Republicans" are on the side of Ukraine. And here he is literally aiding and abetting the enemy using funds that are not his, that THEY earmarked, and they say nothing.

I literally can't see what some of these elderly senators like Ron Johnson are doing. What, he's afraid of losing another 6 years in the Senate? Doesn't have enough retirement savings? Terrified of spending his Golden Years a black sheep on Fox News? These little snotnose Senators like the one who slandered and lied into Claire McKaskill's seat are all in on Trump, but not the ones who've been there for ages. WHAT ARE THEY GETTING OUT OF THIS????

You're out of step with the current R talking point. Trump's being robbed of his due process. There's a rush to judgment. It's all illegal because there hasn't been a vote. Now they should impeach today? Which is it?

Are they constructing the gallows yet?

You were already wrong in this desperate tangent and I have a small modicum of admiration for your dedicated sycophant tenacity cuz I could light a field of lightbulbs off your forehead energy from it, but...you didn't have to go this hard into the paint for it.

You don't always have to go there, guy. Cheeto is not inviting you to Mara-Laygo for ketchup steak lunches.

Relax. Chill. Be in the you. :D

Giuliani is the new Michael Cohen.

But wait, the Lit Deplorables will soon be standing on solid ground! Giuliani has once again risen to the occasion to prove their Deep State conspiracy theories.

Giuliani just learned from Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale that Moose and Squirrel conspired with the Democrats to launch the Mueller investigation. He will soon convince Trump to publicly ask Putin to "Find the missing Rocky and Bullwinkle emails!"

Until there is a vote by the entire house every subpoena will end up in court. The White House can obstruct under article II using executive privilege. Nancy can call it an impeachment inquiry till she's blue in the face but it doesn't have any teeth till the house of the people vote. Nancy is not following precedent or house rules, she's making it up as she goes. In the past, the judiciary committee was the investigative arm of the house and initiates articles of impeachment. Adam Schiff has already lied to the American people and lost all credibility. Until the house votes it's not an impeachment proceeding or inquiry by the house, it's a stand alone inquisition by the intel and judiciary committee LDRs and does not represent the american people. If you accuse someone of a crime then due process is the ability for both sides to subpoena witnesses and evidence. One committee does not make the house. The repubs have been left out of the process which makes it a legitimate witch hunt, Adam Schiff's kangaroo court. If any of this happened to Obama you'd be protesting in the streets, and rightly so. Impeachment and a senate trial is still theory. No president has ever been removed through this process.

You act like there’s a lot of precedent. This has been done once in the past 150 years.

And then it was about lying about a blowjob from an of-age woman. Let's get real about the corruption, espionage, and criminality of and outrageous fleecing by--not to mention multiple blowjobs for--the Trump administration today.
