I use an IPL (Intense pulsed light). I use it everywhere. Much, much better than shaving. No razor burn or scruffy feelings.
It does take a few sessions before getting good results. To supplement, I use an electric trimmer on legs and arms and a razor for underarms and genital areas. I pluck stray hairs in the genital area with tweezers. I simply cannot be any smoother down there. Zero hair. Although most of the time I leave a small patch near the tree. For now, I am diggin the super smoothness feeling.
