This is a parody on a poem, which has the line. “miles and miles to go before I sleep”. which was used in a film with Charles Bronson and Lee Remick, if I recall correctly, but reminds me of how I love art and music and know that all who do so, share the interconnections.
This is a piece of music, a guitar thing, mainly, although percussion is a large part, by Larry Carlton, called, “Smiles and Smiles to go.” that I have loved for years and finally understood why.
But for you guys who love and understand dance, and the gals can tag along if they wish, I want you to go find the music and listen to it and dance to it and follow my directions…grins….
A few instructions first. Dancing is, or can be, making love while standing up and in public, but it is better barefooted and all alone in an ambient atmosphere.
Guys, I want you to fantasize the female as an innocent doe caught in the glare of headlights as the music begins.
I want you to circle her in dance as the rhythm swells and builds and you move accordingly, inviting her participation.
When she smiles and begins to move her body in understanding, swaying her hips and moving her shoulders, I want you to move closer and circle her again, teasing and tempting.
When the music changes, move away and take her eyes and let her see you look at all of her, head to toe, but continue to move and circle as a beast of prey.
When the music changes again and she is into the dance, as you are, move in behind her, place your face in her neck and your hands on her thighs and move them slowly, caressing gently up across her abdomen and sides and breasts and shoulders and arms and then frame her face with your hands, from behind, and as the music changes, drop your hands and move away and circle her again.
When the tempo changes yet again, and her lips are parted, her breathing deep and fast, and her eyes wide, slowly move in front of her and in and close and even closer yet and take her in your arms…
And if you don’t get laid, you need a mouthwash.
