Really just thought of an odd taboo tale where a guy winds up sleeping with his step-sister...but she’s a bit closer than that for more than one reason.
See, after one of his parents died, guy’s remaining parent married his aunt or uncle, so he’s living with his cousin. However, uncle and his dad swapped around a lot with both of their wives, so she could be his half sibling. Now you might say, “well seems like it would be easy to figure out...if it would even matter for the story.”
Except here’s the clincher: his mom and dad were identical twins and their other twins were his aunt and uncle. So from a genetic standpoint, his step sister, who is his cousin, who might be his half-sister, is his sister.
Now that’s the hook but coming up with a plot is the tricky part (really just the “why does it matter” in a taboo story?” Question)
1. The new marriage also moves them to a place where hooking up with a cousin or step-sister is fine (it’s something you do in private of course but it’s not uncommon for young men and women to have a roll in the hay with someone close)...siblings are off the table though and the law, trying to draw a line comes down hard on any other form of taboo relationship. So when the two of them hooking up gets out, they have to try and convince the law they aren’t siblings, even though they (technically) are.
2. Wife and husband are at a party and they play a game of “I’ve never” a few drinks in and someone blurts our “I’ve never fucked my sister.” Nobody drinks but wife notices that for a split second, her husband put his hand on his glass. Nobody else noticed but husband is a bit anxious the rest of the night. Wife confronts him (gently): why did he hesitate? He doesn’t have a sister after all, just a step-sister and they aren’t particularly close and didn’t even live together until they were 18.
Husband then explains. Wife then invites sibling over, and the three wind up having a threesome. Could expand too, as wife admitted to having a brief affair with a relative to get husband to open up about it.
3. Guy doesn’t know she’s even his cousin, let alone his genetic sister. Parents didn’t get along so they didn’t meet up at all. When his parent remarries his aunt/uncle, they still keep it a secret from him. After all, they didn’t look like their sibling when they hit adulthood so it’s not hard to believe they weren’t related. So when guy and step-sis hook up, they think it was just a taboo, but not incestous relationship...only to have parents catch them in the act, forcing them to come clean.
