“First date” with wife...

Hi all

Looking for ideas and tips for an idea my wife and I have planned for early July. We are having a weekend away and on one of the evenings have agreed to have a first date in a bar. I have booked it but want to get peoples thoughts and ideas on how do we do this most realistically.

So far my plan is that we meet at a certain venue at a pre agreed time, having got ready separately in our hotel (I volunteered to go to the bar whilst she is getting ready!) so that when we get there in separate taxis, we won’t know what each other is wearing etc.

But how do we pull this off realistically and what could we do to really spice up the evening and make it memorable? Would love your suggestions and ideas...

Off the top of my head changing hair styles. My hair is really curly but every now and then I’ll straighten it. It always causes double takes.

Change your cologne, and deodorant. It sounds simple and it is, trust me.

I think while you are at the bar waiting for her, strike up conversation with the bartender, get friendly. When wife arrives, ask the bartender if he/she knows her. and then buy her a drink. gradually get more friendly with wife,engaging bartender to "help". Even better if bartender is a woman. that way you get a little extra thrill of having another person participate in your little game.

Don't either of you take your cell phone. The Boss and I go on short staycations here in town and always leave the electronic leashes behind; it forces you to be with the person and ignore everything else. If there is a babysitter or some need for an emergency contact, leave the name of the bar in a sealed envelope.

It's a first date. Remember trying to impress somebody on your first date?

If you'll be wearing a jacket, hit a florist shortly before and get a short rose with one of those little plastic water containers on the stem to keep it fresh. Keep it in your inside pocket and present it when the moment is right. Watch her eyes as you do so.

And I really like Scareltt's idea. At least get a haircut, trim bear and moustache. If you can, spring for new clothes.

My wife and I did this a few years ago. We went as far as both joining a dating site separately - knew who she was, but she didn't know my ID, so initially had to see if she could work out if it was me from all the messages she got! She did (quite quickly, actually!), we did some online flirting and then arranged a weekend 'meet-up' at a hotel. We travelled separately, I went by train and bus so she was already there and checked into the room by the time I arrived, left me waiting in the bar as she got ready and started sending me unbelievable pics of the two expensive outfits she'd bought from Ann Summers for the weekend!

Try wearing a nice shirt, tie and a suit. Maybe some sexy underwear that enhances the package. Add a cock ring to pull it out and away from the body. Look sharp.
