“Angels and Demons Decoded”…History Channel

This is a well done, two hour program, worth the time to watch.

In addition to reminding one of the skills of Dan Brown the author of the novels, The Lost Symbol, The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Deception Point; and the screen writers’, actors and actresses that bring the written word to the big screen, there was another aspect, tourism, that caught my attention.

An American member of the clergy of the Roman Catholic Church said, in rather excited terms, that he was anxious to visit the Vatican to see all the Statues and Churches shown in the film.

I thought what a neat promotional gimmick and would bet that some alert travel agency has already offered such a vacation journey.

I guess I should search…eh?

You don't need to.

Tours of some locations for The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons have been available for some time.

You can get Harry Potter themed tours, Sound of Music tours of Salzburg, etc. Jack The Ripper tours of London have been popular for decades.

If there is a demand, someone will look to meet it.

I went on the Sound of Music tour. I didn't like it. This Harlem Jazz tour was terrible in NYC. Sleepy Hollow theme tour was fun. Grace's Ghost up in the Adirondacks was a good tour. The fake history ghost tours are fun.
