I penned some of the greatest posts in the history of Literature yesterday and they were carelessly and callously tossed aside by Manu.

I am suing for damages!

;) ;)

From Manu in the Site Announcements thread:

"Not saying that something went wrong, but my own post disappeared. I'd like to say it's a first, but Lit old timers know better.

Still working on the database! "

Holly. I created and maintained databases for the banking industry.

I know exactly what happened and why I continually lectured my clients on the topic of catastrophic failure and the need to keep frequent backups...

;) ;)

Data is probably still there if the pointers can be re-indexed.

If not, the world has truly been robbed of a great treasure.

:D

We have everything back now except several hours of posts from the 12th. Working on those still - we'll see if they can be saved.

Of all the hours Lit has been around, I hope you didn't make your best posts during those hours - but stranger things have happened. :)

The best part is that the real upgrade hasn't even started yet. Wait until tomorrow. :)

WOW

A manu post.

I am honored...

And you didn't even ask for an autograph!

Oh well, just copy it off one of the legal documents from your lawsuit.

I hope he didn't have to put 'em all back one by one. :(

I had to retype each one that was missing! :)

Manu purged the originals...

;) ;)

So my sexretary is retyping them, but she doesn't work on Sundays...

She's a "Mennonite!"

We are grateful for any and all miracles

However great and small!:D

Ha ha ha ha

Woody and Throb are awaiting your wit, stylings, and endless C&P's in their most recent Iraqian Chicken Little thread...

It's amusing!

Did you know that Canada and Australasia were the two greatest countries in the world?

:D :D :D

Good to see you!:D

Thanks for the explanation. Of course, those few hours were the first time I've been online this week, so no big loss!;)

This is Manu's way of clearing the board of all that mushy Valentine's day crap and ending the three thousand threads...

Instead we'll all be talking about our blackout at lit.

History instead of the future!

Back to the quagmire of Valentine's day, Literotica's Vietnam...

I love the smell of missing posts in the morning...

Well, it was a strong giggle, but it was out loud!

For the record...

Not that they'll neccesarily keep track of the record here!

;) ;) :p
