I just started having sex recently. Im 24 and i noticed that when im inside my partner (only one at hte moment) i cant feel much..only feel when the head moves past and it rubs against it.

I am also taking lexapro which is an antidepressant. This also makes it hard if not impossible sometimes to cum..which is upstting.

I jerked off a LOT in my hs days and before i started doing it. Is it possible to ruin your sensitiviy by doing so?

Im just wondering whats going on.

Its probably your drug. have you been on it long?

I'm going to guess it's your meds. I'm on anti-d's too and have similar reactions...well except in reverse (I'm female :) )

Talk to your Dr about either changing your dose, the time you take or the med entirely.
Sexual Malfunction is not going to help things. Was one of the major warning signs my doc told me about when he put me on Zoloft to help deal with the reaction that BCP's caused in me.

Unless you were masturbating like 10 times a day, every day, I doubt you did any damage.

Actually, I, too have noticed a loss of "sensitivity".

I can't tell if it's due to too much stimulation when masturbating, or if I've just gotten "older"...

The good part is that it gives you incredible stamina. The bad part is that sometimes, it makes your partner feel like you're not having a good time...

Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions for fixing it. Tantric exercises, perhaps?

I see two issues in your post:

1) Girlfriend doesn't feel much of your cock except near the entrance, and

2) You don't cum frequently and are worried about masturbation having desensitized you.

#1 isn't too tough. Most of the nerve endings a woman has in her genitals ARE near the entrance to the vagina. The vagina itself, up inside, doesn't have nearly as many nerve endings, so it's normal that she won't feel as much stimulation. (The same is true of the anus.) If she's worried about it, she should talk to her gynocologist.

#2 has been mostly answered. The first, most likely culprit is your medication. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about possible sexual side effects of the drug; they may be able to recommend an alternative. As for a sensation problem, it's pretty uncommon to cause desensitization by masturbating. That said you CAN train your body to cum from certain sensations. If you have spent years cumming by using your right (left) hand to stroke hard and fast, up and down, using a hammer- or tennis- type grip on your cock, than your body may well be "trained" to cum only from that kind of stimulation. Intercourse, oral, and other kinds of handjobs may feel great but still not cause ejaculation. Fortunately, you can overcome this training. First, consider taking a break from your normal masturbation method. Jerk off with the other hand, a different grip, or a totally different method. (Consult www.jackinworld.com for suggestions.) Second, when you're masturbating, and when your girlfriend is helping, don't worry about ejaculating. The stress of focusing on it will prevent it from happening. Just focus on how good it feels, whatever you are (or she is) doing. It shouldn't take long before you're cumming up a storm!

if i am desensitized is it permanent or can i bring it back.

It would not be permanent, so you don't have to worry about that!

As others have said, enjoy the trip and don't focus only on the destination. I'd suggest something like a mutual masturbation playtime with your GF, so that you both get comfortable with orgasming with each other. Also, don't fall for the myth that everyone is an expert at sex when they get a partner, EVERYONE has to learn about it, not just you.

Now go out there and have fun! <G>
