I think it's an excellent improvement. Makes everything look professional, tidy and welcoming.
The only thing I'd alter is the colour of the story links. I wonder how many people would accidentally click on the category link rather than the story link as the category link is more obviously a 'link'.

I agree that the stories don't look as much like a link as the categories do. I think a simple underline would even things out. (maybe take the underline away from the category- maybe no underline on eather? I don't know, just a suggestion)

Maybe if everyone could set it how they like it, like you can on the BB? (Did everyone know you could do that? I was here for about a year before I realized. I had the christmas one on for a while, but it took to long to load up on my old PC)

for some reason, only the first 'favorite' that i put in has showed up on my page! The first one showed up immediatly and the theres just won't show up. (I've tried refreshing, and I've tried opening it in a new window) Maybe I've upset the lit-gods by saying I didn't like the changes

fetishes aren't listed either. I used to use the fetishes as a quick way to see if I might be interested in what a writer was reading. I also liked it better when "no answer" answers didn't show up at all. I'm starting to get used to the new way, but I still miss having the stories on the same page as the person's info.

Having said that, I'm not throwing bricks. I run a scripted website myself, so know just how hard it is to get everything right first go. (And changes seem more troublesome than entirely new things!)

BTW, I can't find where to set my 'current picture' (not av). There's a reason I want to be more anonymous than usual for the next month or so, so I want to alter that...
