What do war hawks and draft dodgers have in common?

No, it's meant to be bitchy :)

LovingTongue is rather interesting. I might start stalking him next.

Is that supposed to be funny?
It's true. And funny. I like taunting those cowards. Every time they get on and lash out in response to me they prove my point that people who want the war in Iraq are not the ones actually fighting it.

If they were fighting it they would see up close and personal how wrong it is and they'd come back with a very well adjusted attitude.

And as you know I have stated before

I don't support the war but I do support the Troops.

I'm surprised to see you referring to draft dodgers as cowards.

How do you define coward in a way that excludes you?

I don't see how it's funny. And if you had seen war close-up I don't think you would either.

Personally, I think it's rather ridiculous that you make such intentionally provocative posts, then whine because people "lash out" at you. When you show disrespect for someone, then they should not be expected to treat you any better.

I think some of my views on the subject are best described this way: "I have never advocated war except as a means of peace." --Ulysses S. Grant

I'm not whining. I think it's funny to see them jump when I say jump. And I wasn't the first one to show disrespect here.

War is ugly, especially one based on lies. The war in Iraq is all based on a pile of lies. We're losing good people out there over a pile of lies. All the people screaming for this war are sitting here safe behind their desks and keyboards. If they had to go out there they'd turn against this war in a heartbeat.

But they don't have to go out there. They're here. Safe behind their keyboards. Kinda like you.

Aw man, do I have to?

Busybody is such easy effortless prey.

I'm hunting big game. I'll be there after I collect a few tailbones here :D

Hmmm? Did you have an answer for me?

I didn't say not being on the battlefield was cowardice, readingcomprehensionboy.

What I said was that demanding a war in a country that has done us no wrong, and then not lifting a finger to be a part of it, is utter stupidity and hypocrisy. And cowardice.

They're cowards because Iraq has done us no wrong and they were in no position to do us wrong.

I'm sorry you're composition-challenged. You're claiming to have said something you didn't actually say here.

Are you still working on that definition?

Phrodeau explain to the readers something.

If you want this shitfest in Iraq so much, why the fuck aren't you there getting involved? What's holding you back?

And since there hasn't been any WMD's found in Iraq, and OBL isn't there.. why the fuck is the US involved?

Coward.

I don't want any shitfest. It's not on my diet.

I ask a simple question, and you dodge it like the draft.

Oh and phrodeau.. your reading comprehension still sucks rotten eggs out of dead goats' asses.

Iraq has done us no wrong.
You're calling for war over there.
Yet you're not there helping out.

It's far more your obligation to make it happen since you want it to happen.

Don't come back here with more of your reading comprehension-challenged bullshit without a date and time for when you're going to Iraq. I mean, aside from "when Hell freezes over".

Still no itinerary for your trip to Iraq, eh?

Figures.

The only difference between you and a draft dodger is you talk like a hawk and walk like a dove.

But not you? If you're so dead-set against this war, then why aren't you ever there trying to stop it?

I've protested, online and off.

I'll do something to stop it at the ballot box, for sure.

The only difference between you and a real dove is you only squawk. You can't bitch out people for supporting the war without fighting it, then act like you're all superior and we're just war-mongers if you're not doing anything to stop the war.

Well, la-de-da, you're protesting. What does that mean? As an American it is your right to bitch and vote accordingly. But it is NOT your right to expect others to go to action for thier cause when you are not willing to do something that is analogous for your cause.

You see no problem with protesting a war without going over there to see what's going on or to stand in front of tanks or whatever, yet you continually accuse people of cowardice because they support a war they are not fighting. Guess what? That's what the Military is for. they fight the wars that civilians do not have the will or know-how to fight.

The draft hasn't been used since Vietnam, so any of our personnel in Iraq are volunteers. They knew what what they were getting into when they were signing up and I fully support what they are doing for the Iraqi people.

If our forces were to leave at this moment, do you seriously believe that another dictator as bad or even worse than Hussein would not take power?
