In the latest story I'm working on, my protagonist gets involved with a guy who's uncut. Problem is, I haven't had that much contact with uncut cocks myself, probably as a result of being American and over half the guys I've been with were Moslems. Thanks, y'all! Between your info and Gauchecritic's, I think I have enough info to go on. The protagonist in my current story isn't a woman, but that doesn't signify. It's a little bit odd that he's going to have had more experience in handling an unsnipped cock than I'll have had, but that's the way it goes.

Well I imagine it's done with proper anaesthesia and other precautions taken! I guess the big question is, what happens if you get a hard-on before it's fully healed (takes 4 weeks from what I hear)? In some cultures that call for circumcision, it is done at puberty. I seem to recall reading that Ishmael was done at this time, instead of the customary 8 days which became the norm in Judaic culture. I think that everybody who hadn't been circumcized became circumcized before the battle of--was it Jericho, where supposedly the sun stood still all day so they'd have time to fight? I have always held that no such screwing around with the laws of nature and physics needed to have taken place--if they had just undergone this operation and then had to go and fight, the day would have seemed awfully damn long anyway.
 
Well to be honest I'm uncut and proud. I have never had any problems with erections or any thing else sexually involved. I personally couldn't imagine going under the knife or putting my future kids under the knife either. People say that female circumcision is brutal and immoral and I feel the same way about male circumcision. Besides if the powers that be wanted a man to be with out foreskin a surgery wouldn't be needed.

I had a circumcision when I was 21, due to the pain from hardons.
(My skin was so tight, it constricted my penis behind the head when I got hard, which hurt.)
Your dick may be smart but your brain is not. They give you things to help with hardons during the day, but the problem is at night. When I slept, I got a hardon, almost every night, which made the stitches cut into my skin, and I have everlasting scars from it. Not a major thing now, but it was then.

However, when I recovered, I had many years of pleasurable sex, so it was probably worth it.

Well, I did say that if I had it to do over again, I'd have left my son like God made him. But it has to be emphasized that males and females are circumcized for vastly different reasons outside of religious ones: males, to supposedly reduce the risk of penile cancer (or cervical cancer in their mates); because there is a perception that women (who are used to seeing mostly cut men) think an uncut penis is unhygienic; and to look "regular" in the locker room--that, and because the foreskin is too tight, as Magic mentioned, and gave problems. The only reason women are circumcized is to reduce their enjoyment of sex. The fact that operation often left women in pain for the rest of their lives and made childbirth even more painful and risky than it already is was evidently not taken into consideration. And if you think that this only ever took place in "primitive" cultures, they did it to women sometimes in the 19th century, to "treat" the problem of excessive masturbation.

When I finally discovered the joy of an uncut man, I was astounded at how much more sensitive he was than any other lover had been.
