Nital sat on a bench int he middle of a park, her daughter, Chani asleep in her lap. they had gone waling at sun down and when the 7 yr old tired they stopped for a rest.

To the average person walking by the saw a mother and child sitting out under the night sky.

To anyone that knew them they saw the Aplha female of the Shadows and definately not someone you'd want as your enemy.
 
Jim watches from the shadows. seeing one of the Alphas of one of the Clans.
"My dear Nital, will you prowl tonight?" He says to himself as he adjusts his shades which hide his electric blue eyes that could glow in the dark.
 
Lookign around Nital spotted a man lingering by the horse trail of the park. Makign sure chani was sleeping she got up and walked over and past him givng a slight nod of her head. He followed.

The man was a known thief and drug dealer. No one would miss him.

"So what do you want baby?" He asked as they got deeper into the shadows.

"You." Nital said with a growl as she turned. Her eyes glowing as she began to change.
 
Jim followed but stopped as he regarded the undefended child she had just left on the park bench. he went to it and pulled the blanket over her more so she could sleep better.
"children are innocent............" was all he said before rushing into the bushes where Nital was feeding on the man, his throat ripped out and laying on the ground next to him. It was too late but maybe the man deserved to die, he was after all a poison on the streets which would feed poison to the poor people hooked on it.

He turned and walked away, leaving Nital to her meal. "Perhaps when the target is worth saving then i'll stick my neck on the line." he said again to himself patting his folded crossbow in his hip holster.
 
The darkness falls and I smell blood. I turn into my wereself and track down the scent as a blood thirsty wolf that I am....

I appear out of the complete darkness to my prey, which seems to already dead......."mmmmmmmmm fresh blood."

I spot Nital retrieving her daughter,Chani at the park bench.

"Is that your work over there?"
Nital responded by saying he was a disgrace on our streets.

"Come on, lets go home."
 
Mertshak Yancer

Mertshak Yancer walked slowly into the park. The desert sun was sinking, and it painted the whole world in a lurid red light. He was wearing a pair of tan pants and a red satin shirt open halfway down his chest. His olive skin and dark hair nearly glowed in the twilight.

He walked into the park. One of his pack had told him that the leader of the Shadows often frequented this place at this time. Coming in to the city, he had seen agents of the Tanner family, but he had avoided their notice. His eyes burned with fire as he thought of what their family had done to his. Their fued would end soon though...as soon as he got in contact with the leader of the Shadows.

As he entered the park and smelled blood. Nonchalantly he strolled toward the scent, sure that the alpha he sought would be there.
 
"What've we here?" Jim says to himself as he watches the two new comers enter the park. The smell of blood overwhelms him and he lusts for a taste but surpresses the the urges. "I'm not one of them." He says to himself and runs into the night. His footfalls hitting the ground softer then the leaves of autumn.
 
Nital says to me in a hurry,"I'll be back, I have to go do something important." She says while swinging her daughter to one hip and running away........

I sit on the park bench just thinking of life. It's such a beautiful night out. I wonder what I can get into?!
 
Many would find it hard to run with a 7 yr old in tow but it was no problem for Nital. Seeing Mertshak she asked, "What brings u here?"

This was Shadow territory of course and if she wanted she could kill him and no one would question her.
 
Jim watched as the Shadow and the Flame came together. Both looked like they where preparing for battle. Jim saw that the Alpha Nital had her child with her, if she needed help he would have to help her, it was no secret that Shadows and Flames felt no loss of love when killing each other even the offspring of each clan. "Where's that other Shadow?" He asked himself hoping he wouldn't have to intervien.
 
Nital looked him up and down before syaing, "I don't have time for this. Besdies my daughter needs her rest. You want to talk you come to the den in the morning." She turned on her booted heal and headed back to her pack memeber.

Chani sighed and tapped her shoulder and Nital set her down. Chani spoke to no one. She wasnt deaf or mute just silent.
 
Valen was relaxing when she seen what the hurry was with Nital....

Nital is now talking to a Flame and I'm curious if she needs my help with anything.


I walk over to them.....

"What's going on Nital..is everything o.k?" I ask, while starring at Mertshak like I will lash out at him at any funny moves he makes.

Loking at Valen she said, "Forget him. Hes no threat to us. He's on our turf and out numbered. He wouldn't dare to do something stupid."

Chani tuged on he rmother's hand sharply and stared up at her and gave her a look that spoke volumes.

"Valen let's go back to the den." She said a bit firmer this time. The den as they calle dit was a alrge apartment complex run by a family of humans that they trusted.
 
Liam MacCormick

"You fuckin' muppet, I flew all da' way out 'ere to 'ere 'dat? You're flippin' looney, what a waste of me time." He threw his hands up, exasporated, the hap-hazardly made knot in his tie straining a bit.

"Hey, look, I'm serious. Believe me or not. Just spend a week here, expenses paid, and do what you can. If you still think I'm crazy, take the five grand we agreed to go upfront and leave."

"Bloody hell..." Rising from the chair, Liam let loose a dark sigh...his fingers drawing up to his browline and tracing them tentatively. "Look, if I do this...I want seven 'tousand. I don't appreciate me time bein' wasted."

"And when you find out I'm serious?" the man replied, the cigarette returning to his pudgy mouth.

Liam laughed, flicking his own cigarette carelessly into the pot of one of the office's artificial plants. "Look, mate, if I tag a fuckin' werewolf... You better make it fifty grand, shock alone might fuckin' kill me.

I'll stay for one week, one bloody week." Liam spoke, waiting for the money to slide across the desk...strong fingers snatched it up, tucking it into his jacket pocket and he was off.

"I can't keep workin' for fuckin' whackjobs..." he muttered to himself, shutting the door in his wake.
 
"Your right Nitral..let's go." She says as she looks at the intruder of our place and snarls at him......
 
I watch as the two shadows leave together heading east out of the park, leaving the flame in peace. I follow them and see where i end up hoping that i don't get caught.
"Okay ladies where is your den at?" i say to myself and the dust blowing around me.
 
Nital stopped dea in her tracks and handed Chani to Valen. "Valen go the long way." She said under her breathe. They were being followed. It was any of the other two packs and for damn sure wasn't another Shadow.

She growled softly and scanned the shadows. Someone was out there.
 
My keen senses heard the conversation, i crawled unto a nearby roof and waited to see what would happen. i pulled my cross bow from my hip holster and the wings expanded with a metalic sliding sound. i then loaded one of my personal silver bolts and prepared to fie should it get to hairy.
 
I take Chani into my posesstion, knowing that she is in good hands.

"Go a head Nital, handle your bussiness, who ever it is must be stopped."

I run off through the dark night,going the long way to our den, carrying my sweet lil girl, who I will die to protect.
 
Nital watched them go before calling otu,"Might as wel show yourself. I know you're out there."

Her arms were crossed over her chest. Whoever it was had better have a good reason for following her.
 
throwing my voice to confuse the alpha, i speak calm and coldly, "There is a first time for everything Alpha female of the Shadows. Know that if you try to seek me out i will surely kill you. Continue on your way like a good bitch and i'll continue with mine." The sound of my voice falling with my last syllabel. My words sent shiver up my own spine, i could have scarred myself had i been in her place. i then decide to add my final touch taking off my sun glasses, my electric blue eyes glowing violently in the darkness. Nital saw the 2 glowing blue orbs and her mouth fell open. "I am the lone wolf! Now leave me in peace!" i yell out.
 
Nital's shock soon turned to rage. "How dare you come here?!" Nital would not be bullied by one who kille dhis own kin. "ANd yes i may be a bitch, but i am one bitch who will send u to hell if you don't leave my city."
 
"Fool, you let your pride blind you..............how many have I killed from your own clan? 12 is it? and how many from the Flames and the Ice? 25 all together? one a alpha male. You will not survive me by yourself, use your head." I yelled out amazed at this ones foolish courage and pride.
