Now that the tourists have finally left for a bit and the weather is nice and balmy, let's have some fun on the Riverwalk in San Antonio!

Meet us at a nice little restaurant down on the river (PM for exact place) Saturday Nov. 8th at 6:00 PM. We've already got some fun out-of-towners committed to showing up. So come on down and join the party!

Nah. If we were going to the Dance Hall in Gruene, you'd need those, but dress for margaritas and long necks on the river walk is decidedly more casual than that. I hope it's still warm enough for swimming and hanging out in the hotel jacuzzi. I'm staying at a hotel that has it's water facilities sticking out from the side of the hotel about 7 stories up and it's tres cool swimming overlooking the skyline. (Don't forget your swimmers, Mr. E-man!)
 
Sorry. That's kind of a hangover from my British days. It's British slang for swimming attire/trunks/suit, whatever you call it. And Ms. T -- you better bring yours too!
 
Or, once again, am I misunderstanding? Are you meaning that he prefers to wear only the suit God gave him? hummmmmmmmmm if that's the case, I don't know how to answer. How does that work in public facilities? Help me out here ...please!:confused:
 
Well, I meant that he doesn't like to wear anything but the one God gave him - but he does OWN swim trunks, so don't worry.

And I'll pack one too, just in case. Tho I'm not known for wearing them...

Well if we were all at badmatt's house in Denver, that wouldn't be a problem, but at a hotel swimming pool hanging off the side of the building overlooking the city, it MIGHT be a teesy bit of a issue. *laughing*

We're going to have fun regardless. Can't wait.

Now, if we could just get more of the CENTRAL TEXAS people to pay attention and show up, it would be even MORE fun!

The weather has been pretty warm here, up until a little cool front blew through last night. But hey, it's Texas....we could have rain, sleet, ice and snow between now and then and it could still be in the 90's the weekend of the Lit-together!


and E-man...bring your swimmers.....although our little group wouldn't mind....I think the hotel would frown upon nude bathers!

That's cool. I did faires in So Cal before I got stationed out here to Japan. They don't do Ren Faire here, more's the pity.

Going to be in Houston in January though... any faire's then?
