Food...........Drink...........Merry Talk
A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

We're always open. To pretty much everyone, and we get a pretty lively crowd some nights. It's a place to hang, or to grab a quick one and run. And if you have the time the food i great.

When you have a moment come on in, make yourself at home, and see if any of your new friends will drop by. We come here to share real lives, and to fantasize. We're a pretty esoteric crowd, learning to get along in a small space. There are games, and there's lots of swapping, from news and politics, to music and art, to an occasional mate. The drinks are free. The food is vegetarian, which throws off a few people who came just because it looked interesting, or was the last stop before the highway, but they've come to appreciate it, and some even take home the recipes that others leave off. Food is a big part of life.

So anyway, there's room for lots of regulars who'd like to be on staff. And since I can't always be here (you know what I mean - LIFE?), I'm dependent on at least a few good and kindred souls to keep the order while I'm gone. But mostly The Blue Moon is about the traveler passing through, and the tales they've come to tell, of life outside this cyberbox.

Oh, and you can call me TOG.

Adelaide for me....sounds like a good book, one i like on this country is called "A fortunate Life" by A.B.Facey- its a biography...

he goes on at some length about adelaide, the most overlooked of the principal cities, once the hip center of artists, and how the city is lined with parks, and laid out in two halves. do you like it there?

"He has it pretty spot on there...Yes i do like it...pretty quiet most of the time which is a good thing...."

How about where you are?

catskills mountain and mid-hudson region of new york, about an hour and a half north of new york city. it's beautiful. i love it. tho we're really ready to do some travelling.

*blowin' in like a crisp breeze on a beautiful autumn day*

Hiya Toggle and Henry... Lay Z Butterfly, we've not had the pleasure, but nice to meet you. Not sure if I can handle a strawberry anything right now, but I'd love a cup of kawfee.

*scoots in and waves to all, hiking herself up onto a barstool*

Winter is getting ready to fly up there now, toggle... I hope you're waiting til mid summer when there is no (or little) chance of snow?

Friends of mine just came back from a pow wow in New Hampshire. It's that season. They said it was lovely but chilly. :)

Me, I long for the east again. Soon. Soon. Getting tired of wearing the tinfoil hat here in Kentucky so they don't turn me into a pod.

In the meantime, it doubles as a thinking cap. So whatcha got planned? huh huh?

Hello to DM and Kamal. I may be the odd woman out here, but looking forward to getting to know all of you better. And a warm welcome to you, Moonlust -- rather new here. (We were all new here once. ;) ) Make yourself at home. :D

Oh, and Kamal -- watch that thing. You'll put someone's eye out.

Hello Maid, DM , Moonlust and Kamahl.....

goes to help myself to the coffee and returns to my booth to look out the window...

~Henry~

What a nice group here tonite. Big welcomes to Henry, Maid, Moonlust, DM, and Kamal. Hope I didn't miss anyone. Feelo free to get comfy, and sit around and chat. I'll be busy in the back, but I'll try to pop out to make sure everythings running smoothly. And we seem to be short a bartender tonite, so if anyone wants to pinchhit, jump right in.

It's Italian night here. Stuffed shells with a marinara sauce that'll make you cry, Baked spinach lasanga, Eggplant parm, and fettucini alfredo just like mom used to make.

I'm not even going to mention the pastries. But watch for the dessert cart.

oh, please do, and thank you.

folks, Henry will be your mixologist. please be sure to tip well.
