Clit hood piercing

Pink, you might want to post this one on the BD/SM board. There are several over there with it done I think. They don't bite, unless you ask them to. lol.

In addition to the BDSM board, you might want to consider the General Board. I know of at least 3 women who post regularly who have had it done for at least a year and a half. They give some great insight on this, and they don't always post to the BDSM forum.

I would be interested in knowing what you find out, though! Perhaps you can keep all of us gals up to date with the info you find out?

Yeah, be sure to keep us posted. I've been curious about it for a while, but don't know anyone who has this particular piercing.

I have it done and i responded to P.O. on the BDSM board i don't have the link tot he thread offhand but if you go over and check it out there's some info there.

Whoa! What a kowinky-dink! Last night I was watching the Sunday Night Sex Show, and one caller called in about just having her clit hood pierced. The only thing that I remember is that she was actually curious as to why she -wasn't- being as stimulated as she thought she was going to be. Now, mabye that was just her specific case, but the lady running the show said that the piercers do seem to exagerate on how much pleasure the piercing would actually give you.

That's the only "official" piece of advice I can give, but I will add in my own two cents.

If you already have a very sensitive clit, do you really want to risk ruining that with a piercing? Obviously, the risk is small, but it's there nonetheless. My friend told me that she used to have really sensitive nipples, but when she got them pierced (hoping to make them more sensitive) she lost most of the sensitivity there, and regretted doing it all in the first place.

Yeah, nipples and clits are different. But they both are important to me, and seem important to you, so just make sure you -really- want to do it before you go any farther. I realize that you've been thinking it out for a few years, which is great, I just wouldn't want you to get it done and then regret it-- especially if things did go awry.

Happy hunting for more information, and sorry I couldn't give you more. Whatever you decide to do I hope things turn out well, and you have a lot of fun. :O)

this might help, i heard their alot of fun, a friend of mine way way back in high school told me, before she got used to it, she had a few orgasms in class because of it

Pink--

Yeah, I know you're getting the hood pierced. But the girl on the show said that when she got her hood pierced, she was losing sensation with -clit- play...

Again, maybe it was just her. But if it happened to her, then the risk is there for anyone, I suppose.

Just wanted to clarify.

referring to the show on MTV few days ago?

Nope. A rerun of the Sunday Night Sex show. I love that old lady! I wish she was my grandma.

sunday night sex show with sue johanson. the mtv this was with a male de and the goofball from the man show, and some radio stations have one with Dr. Ruth (female)

the sunday night one, is actually on every night (depending on your area) and for me (I'm in nyc area) is on the "we" women's station around 11ish. Its a really fun watch.

Callers call in with questions or suggestions and she answers to the best of her knowledge, and she also has a toy a night from her hot bag where she introduces or shows a new toy or something couples or solo people can use. And also she introduces a book a night from how to tell your children about sex to ageing and sex books.

The thing is whenever the body is damaged the nerves can be affected. The end result can be large or small and it can increase or decrease sensitivity but you will never know you are always taking a risk. When you pierce something like the earlobe there are fewer nerves to damage, but as you move toward the areas of sexuality like the clitoris or the nipple where there are significantly more nerves you increase your chances of damaging a nerve.:(

* Does it heighten or reduce sensation after 6 months or a couple of years? I expect heightened sensation for a while after the piercing, but does it last?

* Any problems with scar tissue forming after a while?

* Any problems with condoms tearing from the jewelry?

* Would you do it again if given the choice?

* Anything else you wish someone had told you before you got it done?

* for me it hasn't changed sensation since having my piercing done over 3 years ago - though possibly I do find it harder for my partner to bring me off with his hand, though this could have something to do with having no other fun than solo fun for about 4 years previous to the piercing, so I'd got very used to doing it my way.

* no scar tissue

* tearing a condom has never happened

* definately do it again :)

* I wish I'd been told how little it hurt, I'd have done it years sooner :D

riding a bike will be no problem, I used to horse ride a lot and never ever noticed the jewellery's presence.

if you go ahead with it - enjoy :D
