6pm, Saturday August 9, at The Dickens Inn at St Katherine's Docks (near Tower Hill).

I think.

Sorry? It made perfect sense April. Admittedly I thought you were responding to CV.

Why would I do that?

Anyway, I thought that we had agreed to have the thingy the week after the ninth. I was wrong, so thought I should admit it. :)

It can be a week later. I do recall now that the 9th was a problem for Gord. Shall I go back and edit my first post to the 16th?

might be going away late july but august is good i think :)

thanks for organzing this peachy

Looking back I've figured where you got that from. The original date was the 2nd.

Also noticed that Cheffie voted for Liverpool! Damned Aussie! Why couldn't he have taken the fluffy bunny?

LOL I'm not hardly doin nuthin s-g; someplace came up with the venue and mm keeps the threads bumped up - this den mother job is really easy so far:D

It's not doing my ego any harm. That was my most successful thread to date, however you want to judge 'success'.

*bump*.

I don't care either way, since my odds of attending are only 50% anyway. :)

Ooh, I just remembered it can't be the 16th for me, got plans.

Sorry Gord, wherever you are.

They certainly are if you have to pick from a choice of dates.

OK, sounds cool. Probably'll be freezing (can you TELL I just came back from the South of France?)

I'll be there.

And if things get all squiffy, Peachy, I'll just PM you my digits 'cos I'm a lazy fucker.

:D

Is Tower Hill, on the Circle and District Lines, the nearest Tube station? And which Tube station is nearest to Victoria Coach Station? Can't find Victoria Coach Station in my diaries Tube map. I think it's close to Buck House.
Oh well, at least Hyde Park will be handy. I'll bring the marquee, just in case April has nowhere to stay.

Victoria Coach station is just behind the main Victoria Rail and Tube station, its only a couple of minutes walk, just ask any of the staff at the coach station and they will direct you.

Boy is it hot right now....

Oi, that's my name don't wear it out. :D

The nearest station is actually Tower Hill, it's served by both the Circle and District Lines. These lines also serve Victoria station, so it's a handy straight ride to Tower Hill with no changes of lines.

Any tube info you might need will probably be here:

When you exit the Tower Hill tube station, you'll be facing the Tower complex. St. Katherine's is directly behind the office building that faces the left-hand side of the Tower.

So go to the left, cross the street, cross the street and follow the walkway behind the office building. It's magic!
