Hotaru: "No, how could this happen? Papa!! PAPA!!"

- Hotaru's strained voice echoed against the forest entrance... the young woman held a piece of crumbled up paper in her trembling hand...

Bunny's long, slender fingers eased their way onto' Hotaru's shoulder.. the breeze which had just picked up had carried through her long raven hair as she adjusted the backpack slung over her left shoulder.. -

Bunny: "Don't worry, we will find him... where does it say we have to go Hotaru?"

- Hotaru could barely unfold the paper as she opened her hand.. her voice shaking as her own back pack dropped to the ground below.. -

Hotaru: "It says through the forest of illusionary wake, across the river of denial, and just over the valley of dead souls... the only place I know of that is ... "

Bunny: "Lavaste's Castle... "

- Bunny felt the words leave her lips, but it stung her heart. She looked over at the shaking Hotaru and clenched her fist in pain. She would always protect her.. even if it met lying to her... -

Hotaru: "But why would Lavaste have father?"

Bunny: "I .. I don't know Hotaru... "

Hotaru: "We have to get him back Bunny, no matter what the cost!!"

- Bunny reached down and picked up Hotaru's bag, handing it to her younger counterpart -

Bunny: "We will have to camp out in the forest.. I think we both packed enough supplies to aid us"

- Hotaru nodded and shoved the note into her pocket...

The two girls made their way into the forest.... -

“Logan you really need to settle down. You’re 19 now and there are a few girls that would be good for you to pick a wife from.” His mom looked to him. She was always trying to get him to decide on one of the girls in the village and get married.

“Mom, I told you I don’t want to marry any of the girls here.” He sighed, as this was a conversation he was getting tired of repeating.

“Logan, is there something you’re not telling me? The girls here are pretty…”

“I know mom…but I don’t want to be with any of them.” He stood and headed for his room, trying to end this before it became a fight. “Mom, I don’t want to talk about it.”

“Logan, um, you like girls right?” She looked to him as he walked away from her.

He stopped and looked back to her. “Mom, Yes I like girls.. I like them a lot in fact. But none of the girls here in the village and I am not ready to settle down.” He took a deep breath and decided it was now or never… “Mom, I’ve decided to go on a trip, maybe wander around some. You know live life a little and then settle down.”

His mom’s face turned pale as he spoke. “Logan, y-you can’t leave.” She was on the verge of crying.

He could hear it in her voice she was going to cry. “Mom, please don’t. I need to, maybe find out who I am and then I can return and marry. I promise I’ll come back, settle down and give you lots of grandkids. I’m just not ready yet.”

He walked into his room and went to his closet. Opening the door he reached in and grabbed the pack he had readied last month, just before his 19th birthday. He rechecked his supplies, two spare outfits, soft boots, a dagger and a sword, passed to him before his father left, just after his 12th birthday.

He looked at the sword, it was highly polished and had runes etched down the blade. He wasn’t sure exactly what they were there for, but he thought it was kewl. He had even learned over the years to use it quite proficiently.

He slipped it back in the pack, and slung the pack over his shoulder as he headed out to the kitchen. His mom looked up as he entered and didn’t argue with him as she could tell he had made up his mind.

“Mom, I’m sorry really. I have to do this, I know you’re upset now, but I’ll be back. I promise.” He moves to her and kisses her lightly on the cheek. “ I love you mom.”

Tears fell from her eyes as she looked to her son. It seemed to her that yesterday he was just a baby in her arms and now he was leaving her. “I love you too Logan, please be careful son, and come home soon.”

He could feel the tears threatening as he stepped out of the house and turned to head North out of town, knowing he could probably reach the next town in half a day traveling as a unicorn.

As he lost view of the town he stopped and prepared to shift. He was thankful that the things he carried changed with the magik, but he still didn’t understand why the clothes he wore didn’t fare as well. He slipped off his boots and put them in the pack with the other items.

He stepped off the road and into the tree line. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath… he pictured himself in his mind and then pictured his unicorn form standing beside the first form. Then in his mind he blended the two forms, as he did this his form started to shimmer slightly and began to change.

Within moments a large brown unicorn stood within the trees. He shook himself and stepped back onto the road. He turned and began to travel North at a slight trot, the sunlight glinted off the silver chain and amulet that still hung around his neck.

Hotaru: "I don't know how long we will be travelling to find papa... "

- Hotaru clenced the bag tightly in her hand as the sun seemed to blur her vision..

Bunny was way ahead of her, shielding her eyes from the sun as she looked towards the trees, and turned her focus to the village...

However, what Bunny saw was something that made her rub her eyes twice, and squint into the distance... -

Bunny: "Holy shit Hotaru, I don't believe it... "

- Hotaru blinked as she glanced at her older sister -

Hotaru: "Wha?... "

- Hotaru's eyes widened as she saw it as well... a brown unicorn... her mouth dropped as she stepped forward.. -

Hotaru: "Is that really a.. "

Bunny: "Unicorn?"

Hotaru: "I thought they were merely legends.... "

The ugly goblin slitered within the forest walls, its narrow slanted green eyes glaring at Hotaru and Bunny.. it slithered almost, and turned to its companion.. a rather lacky troll ...

Goblin: "That is the one masssster wantsssss"

Troll:" ssshe lookssss tasssty... "

Goblin: "Massster told ussss to follow them..."

Troll:" Why can we only getssss sssso clossse?"

Goblin: "Becausssee (the goblin pointed its finger to Hotaru) Power.... "

- Hotaru stopped and looked towards the forest -

Hotaru: "Maybe we shouldn't bother it, father.. he needs us.. "

- But it was too late, Bunny was already running in the direction of the unicorn -

Hotaru: "Bunny! WAIT!!"

- Bunny ran to Logan, stopping to a skid as she grinned -

Bunny: "Excellent! You will help us get to father faster!"

- Bunny gathered up a globe of lighting in her hands, but was stopped by Hotaru's hand on her wrist -

Hotaru: "Don't.. Bunny.. leave it alone... "

- Bunny snarled, and whipped her hand out of Hotaru's grasp -

Bunny: "Why? If I can tame him, we can ride him to save father"

Hotaru: "But.. Bunny, look at him.. it is not our right to tame a beautiful creature.. let him be free... "

Bunny: "Bah, what the hell do you know?"

Hotaru: "Bunny.. please... "

- Bunny's eyes looked at the unicorns for a moment as she stopped the ball, and looked at Hotaru -

Bunny: "Fine, but this means we have to walk now"

Zarl, of the Macrai-Itoche

Heavy boots fell on the soft earth below, crushing it under the weight of the traveler who moved past. He wandered slowly through the forest, yawning to himself. He had awoke not but five or ten minutes beforehand, and already he was on the move.

He had to stay in motion. There was the threat of being found by his own kind, and the urge to find some of another. Berhaps a human or elven young lady, ripe for the plucking,...

He closed his eyes, and smiled at the thought. The curves of a woman. Her breasts, her pussy. He shook his head, and smacked himself. It was no time to be fantasizing. After all, it wasn't as if a couple of women would just be wandering around in the middle of the forest.

After all, he wasn't the only monster out and about. Although he was probably one of the more dangerous ones. He yawned again, and reached over his shoulder and into his pack. He drew forth a simple wooden flute, and stretched his arms above his head, his wings spreading out before folding back to his back.

He brought the simple instrument to his lips, and began to play as he walked along, wondering where in the creation he was, and how long it would take to find some women.

He came to an abrupt halt as a girl came running up and stopped in front of him. She was followed by a younger girl who yelled for her to stop. "Excellent! You will help us get to father faster!" She looked to him and he noticed she was forming a globe of lightning in her hands, but let it dissipate as the younger girl placed her hand on the older one’s wrist.

They spoke to each other a moment and he figured that the first girl was the leader of the two. “Tame me? That’s not an option. You can ask nicely maybe.”

He then looked to the younger of the two. “ If you don’t mind me asking where are you headed and walking at that? It’s not safe out here.”

Lavaste

As he locked Hotaru’s father in the dungeon he turned and snapped towards his guards.

“I do not want a hand laid on him until ordered. Do you two idiots understand me?”

The guards look to him, shaking with fear.

Troll: “Y-yes massst-t-tt-ter. Please don’t hit me.”

Lavaste raises a hand and knocks the troll to the ground.

Lavaste: “Bah, I shall do what I please to you little whelps. And don’t think because I’m leaving will give you the chance to act. I’m leaving Baramus in charge.”

The troll whimpers in fear as Lavaste heads up to the tallest point in his castle. Surveying the land he laughs.

”It is not only a short time before I have you my sweet Hotaru. Yes…very soon. BARAMUS!”

A little elf comes running up the stairs and stops behind Lavaste.

Baramus: “Yes m’lord?”

Lavaste: “Watch my keep and the prisoner, keep the slaves in check, and perhaps I’ll let you have the sister.”

Baramus: “Yes sir, very good sir.” He laughs slightly as he runs off.

Lavaste looks out over the land before him.

"Now to go check up on my prize."

With that he transforms into a black raven, and flies off towards the only path they can take to his keep, looking for Hotaru and Bunny.

ever since he was in his late teens, he wanted to see the world, and see what it had to offer him

and for the last few years, he has....

but he never thought he would have to fight so much outside his village, but thankful that he was taught somewhat about combat, which proved to be rather useful in that last couple of years...

also on his travels, he had the privelghe of traveling with a powerful mage that was willing to teach him a few spells as self defense, and gave him a few rune stones to help him with his new knowledge

but now he was in a bit of a pinch...

he has overheard of a bit of a fable about some rune stones through the forest not to far from where his travels have taken him, but seeing as he doesn't have the money to pay for the info (nor the brawn to handle his several friends) he decided to find out about the location of these wood, and started on his way'

a couple of days later he reaches the enterance of these wood, and is surprised to see 2 humanoids and what appears as a horse....wait....maybe a unicorn?

as he approaches the 2 humaniods, he finally can tell that they are both human, and female, relieved but not droping his guard, he approaches the women'

- Bunny quirked her eyebrow, her hand easing onto her right hip -

Bunny: "Ask nicely? Why should I.. wait... you can talk?"

- Bunny opened her lips to say something more, when she heard the sound of music, coming from the forest... -

Bunny: "Wait.. that music... where is it coming from?"

- Bunny seemed enticed by the soft sound of the flute, and began to wander off towards the forest...

Hotaru however, had grabbed her hand and stopped her, her violet eyes looking at Logan -

Hotaru: "We have no choice, my father has been kidnapped and we have to go to a Mr.Lavaste's castle to get him back.. "

- It wasn't a moment later that Hotaru heard the music too -

Hotaru: "Bunny, you really shouldn't run off to every sound you hear or every creature you see... "

- But, as always, it was too late.. Hotaru's protest fell on deaf ears as Bunny snatched herself away and took off in the direction of the sound...

Hotaru looked at the unicorn and bowed politely -

Hotaru: "I'm sorry.. but I have to follow my sister. Please forgive her rudeness, she does mean well... "

Zarl, of the Macrai-Itoche

Zarl played. He connected not with note in a lovely little song that offered only it's own tune to the listener. It wasn't his favorite type of song, but it was a way to pass the time, and he was enjoying it's simple beauty. It was enough to content him, for the moment.

Suddenly, though, a beautiful woman broke through the forest. He stopped playing, the flute against his lips as he stared at her. If there was something he had not been expecting, it had been a woman moving towards him.

Then, following her, was another. He blinked. This was odd. He let the flute drop from his lips, holding it in one hand as his eyes roved acrossthe two women's bodies.

"Ummm,.....hello."

'as he approaches the 2 women, he begins to hear soft music in the forest, then wonders who...or what ccould be playing it, but who or whatever it is it was rather talented'

'he sees the 2 woman run into the forst, leaving the unicorn at the entrance, walking up to the unicorn, he smiles and makes an attempt to give it's mane a couple of pats' so are those 2 women the lucky owners of you?

He looked to Bunny.. "Yeah I can, to one person at a time. And it never hurts to ask anything nicely."

He looked to Hotaru... his amber eyes meeting her violet ones. "Lavaste... I haven't heard of him.But you two should not be out here alo...." His voice trailed off as he heard the music and started to follow the two girls.

Tamra

Running through the woods, hearing the tromping of the beasts in chase of her, she begins to tire.

Damn, why won’t they quit chasing me? It’s not like I really hurt them. In fact I was nice, I only lopped off one.

She continues to barrel through the woods, however with her light frame is fairly quiet about it. Hearing the cries of the trolls behind her, she looks back only briefly to hear the sound of a flute being played…right as she smacks into the guy that’s playing it, falling flat on her butt.

“Oh thank god you’re here. There’s these tro…”

She looks up to see the man before her. Green and winged. She lets out a scream as she comes to her feet and scrambles back off down the road.

'noticing that now the unicorn has walked in after the 2 girls, he shrugs his shoulders and decides to walk in after the unicorn, but decides to be on the ready and place his maul on his shoulder, just in case'

'as he hears the scream, he places his maul in his hands and runs towards where he last heard the flute, thinking that maybe the girls ahead of him have been attacked'

Zarl, of the Macrai-Itoche

Suddenly, he felt something hit him. He moved forward a little, and glanced over. It was another woman! He gave a quiet prayer of thanks to the Lord of Thunder. This was his day. Either that, or he was still asleep, and this was about to become his favorite dream.

He glanced over at the two women, licking his tongue across the bottoms of his upper teeth, and then looked at the one woman. Which one to have first? Then, he heard a sound. Looking over, it came from behind the two women. It was, a unicorn?

And then the far off sounds of trolls. Okay, if this was a dream, it had lost it's standpoint. Suddenly, a man with a maul burst through behind the two women.

"Okay, what the hell is going on?"

Tamra

Wait...there were other people there.

She heads back, skirting around the green thing and standing next to the others.

"Wow a unicorn? Been awhile since I've seen one of those. Oh by the way. There's three trolls chasing me."

She smiles a bit as she looks to the winged green man.

"Sorry about running into you and screaming...you must get that all the time though."

runnign in as he seeing a winged like humaniod and a thrid woman here, he stops, with maul in hand, only several feet behind the woman, and waits for something to happen

'as he waits, he starts to hear the approach of something big, 3 of them....

he turns towards where it's coming from, and prepares himself'

- The three trolls that were chasing Tamra had suddenly stopped about 6 feet away.. they were just standing there, unmoving.. well.. they -were- moving, as they cursed underneath their breaths...

Troll 1: "sssshit, why can't we move?!!"

Troll 2: "That damn wench got lucky, she found the power one, we can't get past the barrier until.. "

Troll 3: "They reach our masterssss land"

Troll 1: "Letsss trail them tell then"

- Hotaru was a bit overwhealmed by the male stranger following the unicorn, she turned to him and bowed politely, then bowed politely to Zarl -

Hotaru: "My sister Bunny and I, we are looking for my father... he was kidnapped and... "

Bunny: "Helllooo Handsome Green Man"

- Bunny shot a glare towards Tamra as she snatched her arm in Zarl's and looked up at him with sparkly eyes.. -

Bunny: "Were you the one playing such beautiful music back there?"

- She bent backwards, catching a glimpse of his firm ass, drawing her eyes upwards to his wings, then drawing her eyes infront to visualize his 'manhood'.

Hotaru however just shook her head, once her sister was in 'flirt' mood, it was hard to get her out of it -

Hotaru: "I am Hotaru Tomoe, as I said we are just going to try and rescue my father... and my sister... is.. "

- She nudged Bunny, trying to get her attention.. she just looked dreamingly up at Zarl -

Bunny: "Bunny Tomoe... but you can call me whatever you like... *sigh*"

He watched as the trolls stopped and seemed unable to move any closer.

Ok that's strange.

He then looked to Hotaru. "I am Logan.. but I can't tell everyone just one at a time, so if you could."

She looks to the trolls and gives them a raspberry.

"Ha...take that."

She looks to the green guy and the girl hanging on him.

"Oh...and I'm Tamra, listen, sorry again about running into you."

She looks around.

"Quite a colorful group isn't it."

'seeing the trolls and hearing what they say, he decides that it would be better to not have to deal with them later, and charges the 3 trolls, winding up and hitting one right in the side, knocking him down, and faces the other 2'

Zarl, of the Macrai-Itoche

He was a bit confused as to what was going on. Trolls just standing there, women abounding. Then, suddenly, his choice was made for him. The cute one threw herself at him. This, he decided, was much more fun than rape.

He licked his lips, letting his eyes rove across her body before smiling at her. "Oh, Bunny? Mmm, I like that. It sounds,....tasty. I'm Zarl, of the Macrai-Itoche. Of course, you could always call me handsome. I don't mind that at all."

He put an arm around her, pulling her up close to him, and basically ignoring the goings on around them. "And yes, I was the one play. Did you like that? Maybe sometimes else I can play for you. Maybe when we're alone?"

Seeing the one man run past him and attack one of the trolls, he decides he should help. Knowing that one man alone can not take on three trolls.

He rears slightly, lowers his head and heads after the man, prepared to fight these things. Not really prepared to get covered in troll blood though.

- Hotaru looked at the others, and extended her hands to 'present' Logan -

Hotaru: "This is Logan, he is um.. a unicorn.. who can only talk to one person at once so , he decided to talk to me and... "

- She saw Zarl hug her sister closer, and her eyes narrowed as she looked at him a bit.. angerily.. -

Hotaru: "Hey, that's my sister your talking too... "

- But Bunny, as always, had other plans... she had sandwiched her breasts around Zarl's arm, and had brushed her lips against his ear, musing her sweet breath against it... -

Bunny: "Sure handsome, that sounds.. excellent... "

- It was then that she snaked her silky tongue from her lips and rolled it up the outer edge of his ear...

Hotaru opened her lips to say something when she saw Dark (what is your character's name anyway) running towards the troll, and saw him knock one down.. -

Hotaru: "Wait! Don't take them on alone!!"

- Bunny's eyes snapped to see Hotaru take over towards the trolls.... -

Bunny: "Stupid fool! Don't go after them! Let the fool face him alone!!"

The 1st troll snarled as he was knocked over... while the 2nd troll roared and jumped towards Dark, its claws beared as it opened its mouth to shoot a blazing ball of fire at him...

The 3rd troll had come up behind him and snatched him up in his arms, using his massive arms to try and cut off Dark's oxygen's supply while Hotaru ran towards them.... and as the forcefield got closer, the skin on the troll's back began to burn away...

Bunny: "LIGHTING BALL!!"

- She sent the massive ball of lighting skimming by Hotaru, stopping her in her tracks as the ball hit the 3rd troll square in the back, turning him to dust on impact.. and leaving only 2 trolls remaining...

Bunny held Hotaru back.. -

Bunny: "Let the fool deal with them himself!"

The second troll sent the fire towards him...

He lowered his horn and charged past Hotaru towards the first downed troll...

He was prepared to run it through with his horn if need be to keep the odds even.
