No ID on the killer?

Let's see here. He was a jilted lover? Well, if they know that why don't they know who he was? That alone stinks.

No ID, fine. What about fingerprints? OK, prints not on record. Why no photo? Well he shot himself in the face. Really? How many times can you shoot yourself in the face with a 9mm to truly mutilate yourself and still live to pull the trigger again? It wasn't a shotgun sports fans and pistols don't make messes like the movies would like you to think. They cleaned the Hussein boys up in nothing flat.

But let's say that even that is true. A good police artist could have a rendering in no time at all and his mug would be around the world in a heart beat captioned, "Do you know this man?"

Something stinks.

My guess is that the police are being mum about his identity. I can think of a half-dozen reasons they would.

I'm not entirely sure. I don't have enough information to form a good hypothesis.

My brother just watched the press conference. The chief of police basically said that they're looking at two different suspects - one for each shooting incident.

I'm content right now to give the police room to investigate the cases. Perhaps if thee hasn't been any firm information released in a couple weeks I might get suspicious but not before.

if they release a name too soon enidence could be tampered with, or they could have mob scenes in areas the need to look at.

I was reading an article about it early this morning and they named a suspect. Could have been an error. Could have been suppressed later. I didn't pay that close of attention other than to note that they named him.

First of all, while your point is well taken the lack of identity, or an attempt to enlist the public in making the ID smells.

Secondly, having two shooters acting seperately on the same day stretches credibility. And that implies something more than a jilted lover.

I think they know who he is and are sitting on it. The question is why? Fear of a backlash against the Asian community? I really doubt that. Something else is going on and I think it's more of a political nature than investigatory.

I wonder if the woman in question was one of the victims?

Imagine going the rest of your life being known as the person who caused a maniac to go on a kill-crazy rampage. That would suck.

It also sucks bad to end up as collateral damage in such a situation. I'd much rather my murderer be a regular psycho. Dying over a female is bad enough. Dying over someone else's female is rock bottom.

I don't know Ham. No one does. But what if he/they were? Think there might be a backlash that the authorities wouldn't want to deal with so soon after the massacre?

Or there could be another altogether different reason.

All I know is that the "we can't identify him" isn't washing very well.

Two conflicts Med. If he got his victim in the dorm, why go to the engineering building?

If there were two shooters then we have to believe that that girl REALLY got around and it's just unfortunate that the two shooters didn't run into each other right off the bat, or the shootings had little to do with 'domestic violence.'

It stinks.

I'm not even about to entertain any conspiracy theories. When the smoke clears, it'll likely turn out to be the jilted lover drama coupled with inept police proceedure, or something else just as stupid.

Oh, I don't think there's a conspiracy per se'. The event itself was brutally straightforward and planned.

I have no idea how the Asians got that reputation. TV and movies maybe? They have a long and bloody past. If Ghengis hadn't of died when he did there's a good chance we'd all be speaking Mongol or some derivative today.

Or, they don't feel the need to go public quite yet. The earliest incident is barely 13 hours old. There are plenty of witnesses to interview, including several injured people in the hospital. They'll be chasing the down the leads they have.

They're in no hurry here. The suspect from the second shooting (if there are two separate suspects) is dead. They need not rush to release a name before the investigation is complete.

There are, again, many possible reasons for two shooters acting on the same day in the same location. Some are coincidental. Some are not.

You may well be right, Ish. I just don't see the need to jump to the conspiratorial quite yet. These things take time and I don't need to know the truth of the matter right now.

Sure it could Perg. Still doesn't begin to address the identity problem. We knew within a few hours who the Columbine perps were. All the rest of the time spent on the subject was trying to understand the motives. Which are still debated by some today.

Again Jim, I'm not suggesting a conspiracy. At least not in the conventional context. I'm thinking more in terms of suppression of identity to protect the innocent.

If you know anything about history or even watch Asian cinema, you know just how bloodthirsty and lascivious those folks can be. But if you get all your info from Western media you'd think Asain men never fuck and simply turn their women over to white men with a grin. That's why Harold and Kumar go to White Castle was so hilarious. Asians who actually fuck and get high had never been seen before in a Hollywood movie.

The website Modelminority.com is pretty funny too. Lots of essays about the fetishizing of the Asain woman and the desexualization of the Asian man in Western culture. They've had it up to here with that shit.
