OK, here it is…

Like I’ve stated a couple of times before, I was a member of another message board community from about 2001 – 2005. This community was primarily a forum dedicated to Black women. However, the forum was closed in 2005 and this left me searching for another forum to post on. As luck would have it, I came across big boards dot com and ran into LITerotica. At first I was overwhelmed by the sheer size of the board but as time went on, I found myself at home lurking on the amateur pic forum.

Now, as I stated earlier I was a member of another forum dedicated to Black women and one of the main purposes of that forum was advertisement. In other words, perspective models and webmasters would use this as an outlet to get feedback. However, since this forum was shut down that left one less outlet for advertisement. That brings me to the alts…

Jazzmin

First of all, Jazzmin is a real person…with a real website. The whole idea behind this alt was advertisement. I am friends with the webmaster of her site (and Ms. Sharon). If anyone recalls, most of her interactions were pics of herself posted on the amateur pic forum…basically a means to get feedback from perspective site members. At the time I started posting pics of her she had been a feature model a couple of times on an unnamed site but a friend of mine had offered her the chance to do her own site and she accepted. Thus, her pics were basically used as advertisement for her upcoming website…(now up of course)…nothing more, nothing less.

I cannot exactly remember the join date of the alt Jazzmin. I think it was sometime in mid 2005 as her account was deleted without warning by the site administrators for obvious reasons. However, if anyone remembers (and I’m sure some of you all who browse the pic form do), the Jazzmin alt was never involved in any board beefs and limited her posting mostly to the amateur pics forum.

Ms. Sharon

Ms. Sharon is also a real person with a real website. The idea behind this alt was basically the same as Jazzmin…get as much advertisement done as possible (on a mostly white forum tapping into an unused resource) for her website. Just like Jazzmin, Ms. Sharon started out on the amateur pic posting mostly pics for the viewing audience. However, one day I took notice of the GB and the antics that went on there and thought hmmm this would be another good place to promote the product on behalf of my friend.

If you recall, the banter started out rather politely when Ms. Sharon first made her presence felt on the GB but at some point, her character went in another direction. Honestly, I don’t remember when that was but it obviously happened. My intent was not to make her into the foul mouthed woman that she came to be but rather came about as the result of the disgusting treatment from the GB. I am aware that this is no excuse for what was to come but that was my reasoning at the time. Members were obviously upset that this Black woman had crept onto the GB scene and was garnering so much attention…thus the insults and slurs ensued.

Strictly as a defensive tactic, Ms. Sharon struck back and thus was born the infamous character that you all so remember. I’ll admit that I took this alt to a new level that probably was not necessary but once the change occurred, the natural progression of the character was easier in that direction. Eventually Ms. Sharon’s account was also deleted from LIT (for advertisement reasons I assume) and that is why many of her vile and disgusting threads cannot be bumped.

KathyAnn

Now, this alt was strictly a creation of my mind. The purpose for the creation of the Kathy Ann alt derived from reaction of the treatment of the Ms. Sharon alt. In other words, I wanted to see if a white woman with similar characteristics of the Ms. Sharon alt would be treated differently by the same group of people.

I do not know anyone named Kathy Ann. I do not know the girl in the pics and further, the pics were indeed pilfered from a website (one among many) that individuals have ripped for their own pleasure.

As far as the vile and disgusting language Kathy Ann spewed, it was indeed representative of the GB but in retrospect, I realize that the unprovoked attacks on unsuspecting GB members was wrong and uncalled for. Funny though, this is the only account that is still active. Even though the Kathy Ann alt was the most vile of the bunch her account remains active today. The only reason that I can gather it is still active is that I did not use this alt to advertise another website and I guess when it all breaks down, that’s what is really important to the admins.

Phreak, I also realize that my unprovoked attack on you based on a comment you made in your pic thread was indeed mean, vicious and uncalled for as well. If you check the original post you will see that it was edited shortly after it was made but as a matter of public GB record I would like to take this opportunity to offer my apologies. If you don’t accept, I understand.

Now, like I’ve stated I intend to reveal ALL of my alts. Many of you may not know or be aware that there is one more Leverage alt. RawHumor was right when he alluded to the Italian neighbor upstairs as being another alt. SexyAmy29 was the final alt and from what I can remember, she only lasted a couple hundred posts. Again, this alt was strictly a figment of my imagination and if I remember correctly she was never involved in any beefs or GB wars so to speak. The pics used for this alt were captured from a friend of mines my space page. I’m pretty sure that the account is still active but I have forgotten the password.

As for the Leverage character, well let me just say that he started off as being a somewhat true representation of me but evolved or rather devolved into what was closer to my actual personality 15 or so years ago. Frankly, I would not be surprised if the Leverage account is deleted if by chance one of the site administrators reads this thread. I’m sure that now since I have admitted to being the person behind the above alts they may take that as reason enough to delete the account.

Also, let me take this time to say that Jennifer Kaye was not the mastermind behind any of the Kathy Ann threads. Her role in this was limited, she just played along.

One thing that this entire escapade has taught me in regards to the GB and the internet in general is that even though the alts and their personas were all done in the spirit of fun…some GB members really take the things posted on this board to heart and you never know who that someone may be. You never know who you may inadvertently hurt in the process of writing it off as good fun. That being said, it is indeed better to just take the high road in most instances.

So, there you have it…Leverage and all his alts revealed. Please be advised that I hold NO ill will towards any of the GB members that I may have insulted in the past using one of my alts and whatever you think of me and/or the Leverage persona, really is of no consequence. Now that I have gotten all this off my chest I do indeed feel better. The Future is Now.

I did read enough to ascertain that he'd like to have a clean slate for saying shit about people on the GB. This made me shake my head, as even my 6 year old daughter has a more evolved sense of personal responsibility than he does.
