Saw one of these at a girls' party I recently attended. I was dragged in by some friends b/c I was next door on a business deal. Was awkward being the only guy present! Not that I minded, tho! :p
 
now if i could just find someone who knows how well the thing actually works?? i don't wanna spend $70, use it and say "damn this sucks"!! :p

I saw that it works off guitar as well. I'd be happy to help you road test it (I can play slow and sexy, or really really fast :D ).

I play bass too (I teach both). I'm wondering what slapping would feel like (think Red Hot Chilli Peppers). We might have to conduct some intense trials, comparing bass and guitar...slow vs fast...different styles of music (I could even hook up a keyboard, I play classical piano...Liszt anyone?).

That's it, we're going to need several volunteers and at least a week of trials. :nana: :nana: :nana:


Edit: Don't worry guys, I'm not greedy. I think having several of us available to perform for the ladies would be helpful (it's all in the interest of science ;) ).

Try out some Primus while you're at it. Some of the older stuff that Brain didn't drum on had some driving rythm sections.

This will be more like a documentary, if this trinket is as responsive as advertized. I was thinking about some of the shifting, syncopated beats from bands like Yes and Dream Theatre yesterday. Wondering how that'd translate? They may not be orgasmic, but I bet they'd be novel.

Perhaps SDes and kiten can cowrite this documentary? *chuckles*
