How ashamed are you of Lit?

Would/do you check Lit at work or school?

With friends around?

No, I don't. But I don't access any personal sites from work. I've given the link to a few friends though. I'm not ashamed of lit. Your point?

Always on city manners in the GB, aren't we?

No point. Just curiousity I guess.

Personally, I don't like people in my immediate friend group knowing I post here, because I post a lot of personal details and opinions. I generally don't care if people know I post to "some online messageboard", but sometimes I wonder if even that's a good idea.

Then perhaps it's just you that is ashamed of their online persona?

I'm not ashamed of Lit. It's just private. Not everyone gets to know everything about me. Not everyone is allowed that level of disclosure. I think what I do on Lit is perfectly fine... but it's my business. I don't, therefore, announce it. I keep it to myself and to those friends I choose to share it with.

If someone were to be looking over my shoulder and they were an adult I would not click away if that's what you mean. I am not ashamed at all of this board or what I post on it.

That's exactly what I meant.

I used to be very open about it, but as time has gone by I've been more and more private. I definitely click away if someone is over my shoulder and I even remove the link from my browser when someone unfamiliar might be using my computer.

I don't post from work (anymore) because of the rules of work. At home, I post without worrying about who sees it. If it bugs them, that's their problem.

Why would I be ashamed?

I rarely post from work but not because I'm ashamed. I'm actually working. My co-workers know of this place. Who else would I tell the crazy shit I see on here to?

My friends and family know of this place as well.

Not ashamed of my presence here at all... Losing my anonymity is different. I wouldn't want my day in/day out friends and family reading my smutty fantasies unless I choose to share with them...

They might be ashamed...

Or jealous :)

Hell most of my rl friends knows about this place. My fam knows about this place. And my gf is a litster herself.

What is there to be ashamed of?

I would not go on Lit at work because they monitor all of the sites that we go to. The assholes have no sense of humor.

It's not Lit itself I'm ashamed of, and it's not that I'm ashamed of what I write.

I guess ashamed was the wrong word to use.

What I mean is that a lot of what I write on lit is very private, and really only meant for an unfamiliar audience. I don't need people knowing the intricate details of my sex life, or whatever other sensitive issues I may choose to discuss.

Friends know about Lit. But, I can't access adult sites at work. It's a good thing. I should be working.

I tell everyone I'm published here. Even people that couldn't care in the least :p

I'm ashamed of the undergarments that I still have in my possession - in temperature-controlled storage, no less - from a raid on the Gamma Alpha Omega sorority in 1988.

Shame.

Fine idea. I'll give you ten percent for this keen idea.

I'm going to miss these trophies. I better clean 'em up first.
