Lawyers On Lit! C'mere A Sec.....

THIS IS INTENDED FOR THE LAWYER(S) FUCKING AROUND WITH THE CONTENT OF LIT.

NOT EVERYBODY WHO HAS TAKEN A COUPLE LAW CLASSES AT THE LOCAL EXTENTION!

It is being said that there are legal bastard types going around RIGHT NOW shutting down lit threads due to the new interest in shutting dowm American civil RIGHTS!

In that case, let us all exercise ANOTHER banned form of Freedom of Speech. Direct, verbal threats and plans for bodily harm.

I would LOVE to take these lawyers out into the street, hogtie 'em (with the help of some of our BDSM friends) and slowly start to cut off pieces of their anatomy. I have seen this done in RL. It is unpleasant, but as the legal proffession has been cutting away at our rights and freedoms, so should we too cut away at it. but not figuratively.

lawyers don't make laws. legislators do. and administrative agencies make regulations that usually have the force of law. lawyers may serve in those bodies. but it's not their capacity as lawyers that enables them to pass laws.

have you looked at the law? is it a serious intrusion on first-amendment rights? why?

i'm all for the first amendment, and i don't think it's a serious encroachment. all it says is that the web operator has to have a statement on sufficient to identify the models and affirming that they are over 18. it's a bit of a hassle, but so are required records in a lot of other industries.
