Does anyone know why I would keep getting this message on the "Contact" page when I try to message my readers?

Sorry, cannot send mail to...


Also, if you have any information as to how to get rid of it or who to contact, I'd appreciate the info.

It started after I did a number of mailings several days ago and has remained. I'm now locked out of sending messages to anyone via my author's/readers pages. Is it my bad or another "bug" of the system?
 
We think we've tracked down the cause of this and it should be fixed very soon.

It's a rare error that only impacts a small percentage of users, but we were able to reproduce it. Without your report, it would have been very hard to find! :D

I am getting this error as of this morning. I also sent you a pm Manu regarding this.

It's back!!

I've been unable to send messages to readers via the contact option. I'm getting the same error message as last time.

ERROR SENDING MESSAGE TO *****
Sorry, cannot send mail to *****

I did send a private message to Manu in regard to this error message. Thanks in advance for any help in correcting the issues. :rose:
 
Can't send feedback/messages

I'm also having the same problem, same error message. Started last week. Happens regardless of platform, MacBook, iPad, Kindle. Happens regardless of LIT Page: new beta "feedback to Author", same from the "contact Author " tab on an author's profile page, same if i try to send an email to site admin.
 
Just tried again just now: 9:02 PM EDT, May 25, 2021.

Happens whether I'm signed in or not.


I'm so relieved to hear others are experiencing the same issue. I was afraid I'd been excommunicated for some reason.

I am still getting the error as well. As of two minutes ago. June 2, 2021 @ 22:02 PDT

I used to have the same error..., and now it has changed and appears this:

Your actions have triggered our anti spam protection system. Your IP address and message have been logged. If you are sending commercial or harassing messages, we will take appropriate action. Using our feedback system to promote other sites or any products or services is strictly prohibited. It is also a violation of most ISP's T.O.S. If you belive this is an error by our spam software, please contact the webmaster and your name will be removed from the ban list. The system does make mistakes sometimes. Thanks.

Can't Send and mnow I'm "SPAM?!?!?

I have the same, "Can't Send Message" issue - STILL!
1. Cannot use the "feedback" form which means I cannot send a message to site administrators because it uses the same message form - I've tried it.
2. I am able to RECEIVE FEEDBACK as a couple of people have tested that out for me.
3. I have periodically tried to 'send' in case it has been soved, and so I tried it this AM and got the "SPAM" message:
"Your actions have triggered our anti spam protection system. Your IP address and message have been logged. If you are sending commercial or harassing messages, we will take appropriate action. Using our feedback system to promote other sites or any products or services is strictly prohibited. It is also a violation of most ISP's T.O.S. If you belive this is an error by our spam software, please contact the webmaster and your name will be removed from the ban list. The system does make mistakes sometimes. Thanks.

I hope this gets fixed soon. I cannot send a message to tell ADMIN, "I'm NOT a spammer!"

i used to be an email administrator at one time. I know these things can be difficult to correct and even tougher when it's impacted by software still under development. I appreciate your patience and as much as I want this fixed for me and the other users, it must be causing you some stress as well. I wish you some good insights and the best of luck.

The system tries to detect spam, it isn't 100% accurate. Sorry for the issue. Can you post a link to the exact URL where you are seeing this message so that I'm sure I'm working on the right thing.

We are not spamming in any sense of the word. Those of us affected by this glitch are being presented with an erroneous warning message.

Hi Manu,

Thanks a lot for your message and help. It appears in any feedback message I try to send, for example in this URL:

https://www.literotica.com/s/the-blossoming-of-becca-pt-08/feedback

Then appears that message...

...and it does not let me iether to send a contact message to any author, for example in this URL:

https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=5672828&page=contact

In this second case, when try to send it, it appears the following message: "Sorry, cannot send mail to saltyboy69"

Please, I would appreciate any help from your part. As you can see if you read my messages, is not spam at all, always is feedback to authors...

Feedback still goofy

After getting the erroneous Spam Warning, I just stopped trying for a week or so in the hope that things would get fixed.

Sunday, I tried sending feedback to an author using the beta form at the end of a story - IT WORKED!!! I was elated. I figured it had been fixed.

Later that day I sent feedback to a comment or using the old school form on the page next to their bio - NO! “Cannot send feedback” message again. I thought it might be because of the differences between the beta form and the old feedback form.

I tried using the new beta form at the end of a story again - SPAM THREAT!

All three feedback attempts were sent using different platforms and operating systems.

I would love for this to be resolved. It would be nice to respond to some comments left sent my way by my readers without giving out my email address. Any chance this can get fixed soon? I haven't been able to send feedback out since April.
