Rush talked a lot of crap and to be honest, most of the time I thought he was full of shit, BUT there is no reason to mock him or post comments like "Fuck him, he deserves it." That's fucked up. Because nobody deserves that. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

This thread and the thread linked in the OP is a poignant example of what the "progressives" (far left) truly are.

The far left is indistinguishable from the far right. Both are filled with venom, rage, and hate. Their true goal upon achieving power is NOT to help anyone as they so ardently profess, but to visit vengeance on any and all that oppose their agenda. There is no historical exception to this.
