No, Republicans don’t get a pass for bravely remaining silent as Trump stokes racist conspiracies

Enough of this garbage. Every Republican senator has a massive, nationwide platform from which they can announce what they do and don’t support and be assured that the whole country will hear about it. There’re no medals to be rewarded for “hears Trump’s racist rants, after voting to immunize Trump from provable corruption charges and unleashing a government-wide purge of those that would investigate him, and decides to remain slightly more quiet than anyone else.” Get the hell out with this nonsense.

There are no brownie points for this. Collins doesn’t get to claim credit for avoiding Trump’s racism and corruption to instead talk about property taxes. She doesn’t get to strap on the ol’ moderate nomenclature for complaining that it was “painful to watch” Trump gas Americans so he could go hold up a Bible for a minute-long photo op, but Oh Well I Guess That’s How Things Work Now.



Sen. Joni Ernst isn’t conflicted about Trump’s hyper-racist attacks as she instead talks about “renewable fuel standards.” She’s keeping her mouth shut while Trump does his dirty work. She’s attempting reap whatever electoral advantage she can from Trump riling up the far-far-right base while staying just barely off to the side, where she will receive less of the blowback.

Apparently “moderate” in the Republican Party is just another word for do-nothing coward.

Every Republican senator continues to have every possible opportunity to denounce Trump’s corruption, his racism, his pandemic incompetence, and his giddy violations of law. The responses range from Ron Johnson’s attempt to out-Nunes Trump’s other sycophants, Mitch McConnell’s blocking of national security and oversight measures, and Susan Collins’ frayed and unraveling con artist routine. There are no “moderate” supporters of a fascist movement. You are either in the boat or you’re not.

Trump only passed the hat for Black Colleges because he need some black votes, not because he cares on wit for anyone but him. He's learning how to be a Democrat, feed the minor funds to the necessary demographics and reserve the Major funds for the donors!

In an effort to look like an American “Winston Churchill” and a “wartime president,” Trump sought to divert attention from COVID-19 by framing protesters against police brutality as the enemy.  

Appeals to white grievance are Trump’s go-to move. The danger is that this desperate strategy has stoked the passions of right-wing militias who have turned to open violence against Black Lives Matter activists. The blood spilled in the streets can ignite into more intense conflict. Trump has already signaled he is willing to harness that violence to keep power if he loses on election night.

Experts who study extremist groups said Trump’s message was dangerous, and could encourage additional violence.

Proud Boy Tusitola "Tiny" Toese is obviously not a white supremacist and therefore by virtue of his membership, they can't be a white supremacy organization, as the left would all like us to believe:

Only hard core racist think this historic organization is discredited. They are the source for identification if racist in the USA.

Sane people: Socialism is antithetical to the US Constitution and has a 100% fail rate with a few hundred million peoples starved/slaved to death in the last 150 years of attempting it, maybe we should consider other options?? The "racial justice" and "intersectional movements" are absolutely antithetical to advancing human rights for all people....quite the opposite they depend on and directly advocate the oppression and injustice for people based on their immutable characteristics like skin color and genitals.
