This section is geared more towards authors. In this category, please nominate the editor who helped you the most in 2006.

Editor must be an active Literotica member (meaning their account is still currently on Literotica – it has not been removed or cancelled) listed on the Volunteer Editors list during the year 2006.

One nomination per member, please. If multiple nominations are made by a member, only the first listed will count.

Damnit KBate... You had to be Ms. Quick Fingers, didn'tcha?! :p

I wholeheartedly second this nomination, she was my editor for tons of my Survivor entries, she devotes a ton of time and energy to a project, is a fantastic sounding board, has amazing technical editing skills, and wouldn't let me defy the laws of physics or misuse the word "lurid"... :D

KevH...he made an enormous difference in how I approach writing (now if only I could find the time to write again :( ).

I'd like to nominate kbate as most helpful editor. Not only does she edit for a number of authors on Lit, she provides feedback, constructive criticism and suggestions on the Story Feedback and Editors Forum for those who request "quick" assistance/feedback. Besides obvious technical editing skills, kbate is honest, supportive and her feedback is invaluable. From what I've seen and experienced, her main goal is to help an author and their stories improve and I think that she succeeds in this. Over the past year, I've learned a tremendous amount about both editing and writing from her and any improvement in either of these areas is largely due to her influence.

Selenakittyn

I would like to nominate Selenakittyn, she has done wonders with my work, and I have learned so much from her.

I 3rd this nomination.

RogueLurker is a conscientious editor who always knows hown and when to reign me in and doesnt let me know of her frustration when she receives the same piece for its 5th edit :D.

Incredibly giving of her time and opinions, She's so patient :D and is a great person to ask for random advice relating loosely to plot!

she not only edit's but supports as she offers brilliant advice/suggestions. Also witty and has a way of 'working with you' not as though she's your worst enemy and has a grudge against you.

Overall a great editor to work with.

I'd like to nominate CopyCarver.

(also, I second the nomination for RogueLurker, if allowed to do both??)

Tough call, but RogueLurker gets a nod from me for bringing my Halloween story up to where it should be :)

Definitely CopyCarver. It's just a shame we cannot nominate more than one because RogueLurker is a close second.

I'd nominate snooper - very professional (and fast) editing, offering patent advice on content and potential weaknesses of a story, and even managing to get a German organized. ;)

His input has been invaluable for me.

Kbate, i will nominate Kbate, she helped me tremendously and taught me a great deal, right up till before she had her baby.
Thanks, Kbate :rose:

Techsan

I would like to join Dynamite Jack and H20Wader in their nomination of Techsan. Patient, fast and always kind--I don't know how I could do it without him.

kbate for me too...she is helpful without being preachy and can handle sensitive writers even when she is hormonally challenged herself, being pregnant and all
