Our three families had moved into this neighborhood when our kids were all much younger. Being single parents, we relied on each other for many needs, including those of a sexual nature. The married couples eventually joined one or more of us, but we somehow became the trendsetters.

As the kids hit eighteen, they often tried to convince one or the other of us to "join in." A few weeks ago, the last one hit that magical age, and the three of us got together and concocted the idea of this "key party."
 
anna got home from work at about 3. she went up to her room, and looked at her calender. tonight was the party, the family key party that her dad and his friends had created seeing all of their kids were over 18.

by now it was about 5:50, and the party started at 6 across the street.

"thanks daddy" i replied. "who knows, i might...you never know. The party starts soon, should we head over, or wait for my always late brother?"
 
"We can head over, he knows where to go. Just leave him a note not to forget his keys. I'd hate for him to miss out on the fun." I said to her.

I rrush out the door, grabbing my keys as I leave, seeing Anna and dad ahead of me. "Woooh, guys wait for me." I stare at Anna, as I catch up to her. "Wow, Anna, you look stunning."
 
i look as my brother runs out of the house. dressed in jeans and a forest green polo.

"thanks, i smile. so do you"

we slowed to let him catch up. I enjoyed walking into the party escorted by two very goodlooking men.

My son and I walked Anna to the party, arm in arm, like we were escorting a beauty queen in a pageant. I reached out and rang the door bell, not knowing exactly who would answer the door.

"we'll just have to see" she whispered to him before greeting bruce.

I walk into the spark's home, and say hi to the people already there.

walking to the kitchen, i pourd myself a glass of diet coke, and went back into the great room, and walked over to my brother (name)
 
Patrick smiled seeing Anna coming over towards him. "So Anna, my beautiful sister, tell me will tonight be the first time for you, like it will be for me."
 
anna smiled at him "yes, tonight will be my first time" she looked around the room at her friends and neighbors.

As we walked in, I thanked Bruce for hosting the party tonight as I shook his hand. Patrick and I said hello to a few of the people that were already there. Anna had disappeared already, but returned shortly with a diet coke. I listened to the exchange between my kids as Bruce came up and handed me a beer.

Kari sat on the couch with the other kids. They were laughing and talking. Always having been friend due to their parents hanging out together. "Can you guys belive we are all finally 18. Seems like it took forever to get here," Kari said to everyone.

anna and patrick went and joined their friends on the couch, joining in their conversation. she was nervouse about tonight, but excited as well.
 
"Tonight should be fun. Finally being able to join in with our parents," I said to the small group of friends. "I'm running low on my drink, anyone want me to grab them something?"

I looked at Bruce, "So, who's the girl sitting next to Kari on the couch? I don't know that I've ever seen her before." He smiled at me, "That's Kari's cousin (need a name pink_juliet). She's staying with us for a while."

"well the more the merrier, I say" I said to him, admiring her looks.

OOC: Figured we needed a way to fit in pink. If anyone doesn't like it, feel free to change it.
