You mean to say that the smell of Durian didn't melt your camera lens or cause the body to seize up!? Peeeeeewwww!
I'm one of those people that likes it.... Had never bought one myself... so I cracked this one -- and yes, my house smelled like durian for a week -- and now I have a pound of durian in my freezer, triple-wrapped: first in plastic wrap, then in small zip-locks, and the four small zip-locks in one big zip-lock. With the fruit frozen this way, and wrapped, I think I have it tamed. Until the plastic starts breaking down, of course.

Wow, look at the sun lighting the background.... It looks like Pissarro painted the stage for your leaf! Delicious (and where did you find that sunlight, anyway... we've gone without for weeks now. No fair).

You're going to push me into a better camera!

Sylph- Your pics are making me cold! :) On this most blustery day, I think I'm going to defy the approaching winter. It’s still summer, it’s still summer, it’s still summer…

Beautiful photographs, it_matters . . .I especially love "flow" . . .
Thanks, OG. The one that really sparked me lately was "Fall" by SylphOne... the background of that photo is like staring out a field of stars... or standing in front of an enormous oil painting. Yum. And so many of Mr. Quadratic's shots as well. A fun thread!

Glad you liked that one so much...
Well since tangled webs and intersecting line patterns seem to be the theme of the day......here is my contribution....

What I like about them is that you get to be the happy, lucky person who can receive a gift... and then give it away to others. what great luck. keep looking for a god, and you find it, just snapping a quick picture of a few leaves...

Hey, Socrattt... so what's the secret to 17 Mile Drive? That IS a statue of some sort, right? Or a natural tree-formation of a kneeling man?

Its a tree trunk. I dont remmember what kind of tree though. I wish I could have hunk out there longer till the light was just right.
