I know, odd topic but meh. I know everyone has had a first car before in their life. What was it is all I'm asking. Mine was a 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT. I know, a slight racing car but I got it when it was a bit junky. THough I fixed it up and slightly sooped it up but yeah. So guys and girls, what was your first car?

A 1988 Chevy Celebrity. I drove the hell out of that car. It was ugly, but damn was it reliable. That was 4 yrs ago. It still runs (with like 250,000 miles on it !!!!)

I drove it for about a year...got a 96 plymouth that didn't last long...then a 97 cavalier that I used for almost 3 years.

Now I have a 2005 pontiac sunfire and a 96 GMC 3500 1-ton dually crewcab.

Neither is fancy but they are mine!

damn thats quite a few cars as a first Epona, lol. I know, but yeah that is a kewl car for a first.
 
My first car? Honda Accord. I drove it for like a year, sharing it with my brother, but the first time it actually became mine and only mine I wrecked it. Within the first week of getting it mind you. I got a 04 Civic in replacement, named him Max and love him to death.

The Accord was green, I didn't like it. Wrecking it turned into one good accident, my new one is silver. I'm don't know anything about cars but it sure is cute.
 
Well, either way, its a way of getting you somewhere so meh, at least you had a car. My brother who is 23 still doesn't have a car. Kinda funny in my mind.

Got you beat: My first car (purchased in June 1970) was a 1967 Olds 88; the title said it was "Desert Sand" but all my firends said it was "Titty Pink."

In 1989, my youngest daughter was 11.
 
First car was a '70 Caddy 2dr. Had a 500 cu in and loved the gas pump. Outside it was rust and dents and primer. Inside was a perfect leather interior.

The front seats would recline WAY back.

That car was hated by fathers of wayward teenage girls for miles around.
 
Vauxhall Viva. I think it was a '73 or '75. Very good car.
 
1969 Buick-Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Pontiac-Ford (?) Two-doors and as big as the apartment I was living in at the time. It was that nasty avocado green color with a black vinyl top which shed huge chunks like anti-matter snowflakes as you drove down the road. It was over 10 years old when I bought it. It was $500. My BIL cosigned the loan and I made payments for a year. We drove it for a number of years. No maintainance, etc., until one day it was so far out of alignment that the right front wheel actually fell off as we were driving down the street. Children were running up to us carrying springs, parts of the brake assembly and other assorted bits and pieces. BTW, a bare axles makes quite an interesting pattern as it digs through hot asphalt.
 
1980 VW rabbit pick up, yellow with whote canopy. 1.9 gas motor and an automatic tranny, sweet ride, man I miss that truck.

The first car I ever owned was a 1971 white Ford Pinto. Of course, when I bought it used, I had no idea it had a slight problem...the gas tank was in the back and it could catch fire in a rear-end collision!
