Yes, I think the reason most women haven't had an orgasm at all is this very thing, guilt, sexual hang ups, etc.

I am not a sex therapist, but I do not believe that there are many women out there who simply cannot have an orgasm due to physical reasons. Other than the unusual medical issues, I think it is all psychological. I just don't buy the alternative.

For instance, when I was about 8 or 9, my mother walked in on me masturbating. Of course, I was just a kid, I didn't know what I was doing. I just knew I was doing something that felt good. She told me I was filthy and that nice girls don't do that. I felt bad at the time, but fortunately I've never much listened to her anyway so it didn't affect me. I'll bet it could have, and I consider myself fortunate that it didn't. But physically, I am the same person. Just so happens I didn't go in a different direction after being told that what I was doing was wrong.

Get over the mental block, and I believe most women have an equal orgasmic capacity.

(For the record, I can only orgasm "at the drop of at hat" via my own solo efforts. I can do it in about 15 seconds. But in a sexual situation with another person, it takes mor time and more work.)

I'm wondering what brings you to the conclusion that the orgasmic difficulties of other women are almost entirely psychological rather than physical? Just because you can do a "look Ma, no hands," does that mean than any woman physically could also? What would lead you to that conclusion?

That's fine if what you are looking for is to stroke off to some pre-written stories. I don't know if I would quite call it cyber sex, though. Also, you could download the story to a PDA, and then take it where it's more comfortable to read (or you could just print it out).

I tried it once and its not worth it. I ended up typing like almost a full story back and forth. We had to take turns in the end. Its very difficult to reach the places that need attention while sitting down. A vibrator helped. Its just not worth all that typing, to much work and not enough fun.

I wonder if the NYC subways will see a sudden surge in ridership now? Probably, they'll assume it is because of high gas prices.

Personally, even if I were able to masturbate without using my hands, I still wouldn't be able to type at the same time. Masturbation just takes too much concentration. At some point, even reading becomes difficult, and one just has to close one's eyes and focus, focus, focus. Don't you?

I certainly don't mean to be arguing with you here. You certainly know more about females and female orgasms than I do. I'm here trying to learn about women, 'cause they are a mystery to me.

However, I don't necessarily think you can extrapolate that statistic on female orgasm in general to female hands free orgasm. People vary in many ways. Maybe you are right and other women could physically do it if it weren't for the psychological blocks, but I don't think anyone can say that for sure. I think though that as far as the actual current practice of cyber-sex, most women would not find that they could do it that way. My wife orgasms almost every night, but it takes a LOT of VERY strong stimulation. If she could be treated to be able to do it hands free on the subway, I'm sure she'd want that treatment.
