We've got planes ready to send them back.
You mean send them to a city near you, right?
Cut off economic ties with Mexico. If Mexico is giving them a free pass to walk the length of the country, make em pay.
Many of the Central and Latin American migrants, including a large Haitian contingent, have been stuck for months in the city of Tapachula near the border with Guatemala, complaining that authorities have stopped them from transiting through Mexico.
Then how are they getting to our Southern boarder? I've seen maps. It seems to me, you need to be in Mexico to get to our boarder from the south. If Mexico won't stop it, then we need to stop doing business with them.

No, it's that simple. If they are walking here from Central America (which is where I believe they are coming from), then there are several countries that are at least complicit in allowing them to traverse their countries.
I don't understand why you think Mexico doesn't have the ability to stop a group of 60,000 people from walking across their country. They should start by controlling THEIR southern boarder.
I think Mexico, like most countries, is playing the US for the fool. One hand in our wallet, the other slapping us in the face.
What is so "complex" about telling them to stay on that side of the line and enforcing that order?

*chuckles*
Just under CUSMA alone the US hands are tied in what actions (financially) it can take against Mexico.
Are all you Republicans that narrow sighted on international relations, treaties, and agreements?
I get it, you two have no clue that complicated issues are difficult to resolve...
No one is saying anything about taking actions against Mexico, certainly not contrary to CUSMA, which really doesn't apply here (it's not a treaty, after all). We're taling about keeping illegal aliens out of America. If Mexico wants to take them in, that's fine.
