I'll offer up the first one.

Guaranteed employment/wage.
When you give people money, they spend it.
When they spend it they stimulate economic activity.
When economic activity is stimulated, it acts as a multiplier on collected taxes.
The more taxes that are collected, the more that can go back to those who are now free to pursue their muses.

When the muses are sated, we are a richer people
(not measured by how much you are worth, but how much you contribute culturally).

I dare the deplorable mouth-breathing right-wingers and incels to deny that basic economic fact.

Allah forbid that the company actually want to produce something and turn a Fascistic profit . . . .

We're just getting started.

;) ;)

Can high minimum wages be far behind when it comes to guaranteed employment?

It's only fair! Everyone deserves a "living" wage.

Think of the multipliers!

Nobody, but nobody should pay taxes.
In all fairness, only business should pay taxes.
When it comes to the wealth of a nation, they should not hoard it.

Profits and interest income are fair game. Wages are the results of barter - my time-n-labor for your money.

Period.

Bring on the Fascism!!!

I look good in black shirts. No, really . . . .

Stock options are where the real money is at.

Tax stock holders 90% on profits.

They didn't work for it...

Just don't presume to tell me what I did and didn't build . . .

or I'll build a colossal knot on the side of your punkin haid . . . .

I'm a beer and pretzels kind of guy, and no, you didn't build that. Wage and slave labor built the infrastructure that you leeched off of.

Wine and cheese is for the wives of the exploiters.

Things that have worked everywhere that they are implemented:

Universal Health Care paid for by taxation or national insurance that covers everyone...

(except in Venezuela and other states that rip off their citizens to enrich politicians, whether the state is described as socialist or not)...

So change the title to Things that have worked everywhere that they are implemented properly without rake offs.

A guy as smart as you should be able to find something that works "everywhere" without carving out an excuse for failure...

Serious.

Ogg, the wait times for diagnostics in the UK and Canada are atrocious and getting even longer. While your observation re. Venezuela is spot on, your heath care system is dying a death of a thousand cuts.

And quite frankly I wouldn't be surprised if an in-depth study showed that pensioner's are put off the longest. It is in the states best interest to see the tax unproductive removed from the system as quickly as possible.

Most of the pisters in this thread haven't done an honest day's work in years (yeah, you too Wat, we all know you get paid under the table).

Thoughts and prayers to you and yours in hopes that you find at least part-time work when the EDD checks stop rolling in :rose:
