Aromatic Blossom Butter recipe

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
(at room temperature)
1/4 cup aromatic petals, such as
rose, violet, pinks, herb flowers and
other safe-to-eat seasonal flowers
1/4 cup or to taste, sweet marjoram, sweet
basil, thyme or dill (optional)

Mix butter, petals and marjoram, basil, thyme or dill, if using, until well combined.

Spread butter mixture to about 1/4- to 1/2-inch thick on flat plate, if cutting into shapes with small cookie cutter. Or mold into small serving container or butter molds. Place in refrigerator to harden.

Leave in cool place overnight to allow fragrance to permeate butter. Serve on crackers or bread. Makes a scant cup.
 
Cheddar Butter Spread recipe

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Combine all ingredients.

Serve with warm bread, steaks, spuds or almost anything.
 
Bacon Herb Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup butter
1 teaspoon Oregano
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
8 strips crisp crumbled bacon

Directions:

Mix well. Use on: Corn, potatoes, red beets, tomato halves, zucchini, green beans.
 
Banana Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

3 1/2 pounds Bananas; ripe
3 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Lemon juice
1/2 cup Maraschino cherries chopped
1 teaspoon Butter

Directions:

Peel and mash bananas. Measure 4 cups into a 4- to 6-quart pot or Dutch oven. Add sugar, lemon juice, cherries and butter. Mix well. Bring to a hard rolling boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer gently, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring often. Pour into hot jars, up to +/-inch from the top. Adjust lids and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

Bananas Foster Butter Recipe


Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted and softened butter
1/2 large mashed banana
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon banana liqueur

Directions:

Whip together softened butter, mashed banana, cinnamon, brown sugar and banana liqueur until completely blended. Serve with French Toast or pancakes.

Basil Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

4 ounces butter -- softened
1 clove garlic -- chopped fine
1 handful fresh basil -- shredded
salt and pepper -- to taste

Directions:

Blend ingredients together well. Shape into a log, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Use on breads, veggies, pasta, or for basting poultry.
 
Bad Breath Butter For Wings

Ingredients:

1 cup Softened Unsalted Butter
1 cup Chopped Fresh Basil
6 Cloves Garlic -- minced
1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Directions:

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, basil, garlic, pepper, onion powder, and cayenne.

With a rubber spatula, place the mixture widthwise down the middle of a 12x8 inch sheet of tinfoil or wax paper, leaving about an inch free at either end. Roll the foil or paper up lengthwise to create a little cylinder of butter. Seal the ends of the cylinder and freeze for at least 1 hour before using.

To use butter grill, bake or fry some chicken wings. Leave them plain or toss them with hot sauce in a bowl. Then slice a few slices of butter from the roll in your freezer and toss with the wings while they are still warm.
 
Chocolate Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted after measuring

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth and well blended. Place in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes, or until firm and cold. You can then form it into 2 sticks or other shapes.
 
Chocolate Butter II Recipe

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons butter
1 ounce semisweet chocolate

Directions:

Melt chocolate, set aside to cool. Cream butter, beat in cooled chocolate. Pour into 4 small ramekins and chill until firm. You may use butter molds-refrigerate for 20 minutes, then pop out and store in plastic bag.
 
Hazelnut Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts -- chopped
1/2 cup butter -- softened
1 teaspoon honey

Directions:

In a small mixing bowl stir together hazelnuts, butter, and honey. If not serving immediately, cover and chill. Bring to room temperature before serving. Delicious with asparagus, carrots or peas.

Roasted Hazelnut Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

4 ounces fresh hazelnuts
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 cup unsalted and softened butter

Directions:

Roast hazelnuts in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Remove skin from nuts and coarsely chop them. Mix nuts and lemon zest with softened butter until well-combined.

Horseradish Chive Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons drained bottled horseradish
2 tablespoons minced fresh chives

Directions:

In a small bowl cream together the butter, the horseradish, the chives, and salt and pepper, to taste. Let the butter stand, covered, in a cool place for 1 hour to allow the flavors to develop. Serve the butter with grilled meat.

Strawberry Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
2 teaspoons grated orange peel

Ingredients:

1 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

Beat ingredients in bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.

Honey Cinnamon Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup butter softened
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Serve with muffins, toast, bagels, French toast or pancakes. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Honey Blueberry Spread Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) blueberries
1/4 cup honey -- divided
1/2 cup butter -- softened

Directions:

Heat blueberries and 2 Tablespoons honey in small pan to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly. Cook 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture thickens and is reduced by half. Cool. Blend in remaining honey. Serve spread at room temperature, store in refrigerator, tightly covered.
