hey ya'll, sorry to get everyone super juiced about this and then not do anything about it. real life keeps trying to crowd me out of lit, but i think i have everything in order. i will try to have the thread started tonight, maybe 11pm pacific, but no promises. if not tonight, you will definitely see it up on monday afternoon. i'm hella juiced for this thread, i think it's gonna be way fun. i'm honored that all this tremendous talent has hopped on, so thanks everyone!

sooner than i thought!

well, after a long night during which: I opened the valve of near-boiling water directly upon the four fingers of my left hand while trying to fill a glass; i tore a chunk of skin off my right thumb and had to tape it up twice (let's not get into how difficult thumbs are to band-aid, much less how difficult it is to make espresso drinks with an effectively non-functioning thumb); the whole night was protracted by crowds of customers still sprung from the Big Game (Cal v Stanford, Cal won but it was close, and was at home this year so we had lots of foot traffic); very nice but incredibly annoying nighttime regulars; a busted espresso grinder, which meant we had to use the old-school grinder, and no decaf)...

Well I figured there'd be a few people that would post but they hopped off line. And i was hoping to get to know Zidane a little better by introducing him Fuken but that will have to wait until later. Ah well...weeee. *chartwheels to bed*

not so much cafe as coffee-shop. northern california. won't tell ya which one, but i'll give you a prize if you can tell me.

not starsucks, but there is one right across the street from the shop i work in.
